pretty much every coin you listed would be a solid investment imo

i have half of those (ICX, ETH, WTC, NEO) but would still scoop up the other half if i had more fiat

could also consider XLM, BAT, or REQ, but it sounds like you've already got quite a few promising options to choose from

No, I thought about doing that but if it never gets halfway through I'd be more pissed that I did that than if it does make it through all and I didn't. I guess in the end as nice as it would be to hit that right I ain't trying to time the bottom on anything. I am just trying to be spread to buys in along the way, and being under the impression that this thing does correct at some point, a week or a year from now, this is the best way I feel to tackle it, will be well ahead of the weak hands that pulled out without having to worry about timing anything perfectly. But that's the way I am looking at it, I'll be admiring anyone who times the bottom of this thing perfectly.

I also have a BTC ladder down to 3k, if we get through that I'd say we are fawked anyway, so yolo.

My buddy said he just read an article stating most institutional investors will go hard into BTC at 9k price point. Now obviously nobody knows how true that is, but interesting to think about in regards to that bounce up from 8.5. Inb4 next time I check we are at 7k.

took my profits from xlm and wtc before the dip, neo seems to be a steady grower but im not sure if it has the same kind of potential as the rest since its already in the 140-160 region.

haven read into BAT and REQ at all but im having a hard time deciding between balls deep into maybe just 1 or 2 VS diversifying them. would be 40VEN/40/ICX/20thinking of what to invest for me

Why does the crypto crowd go ballistic when prices slingshot back and forth daily? By tomorrow BTC could easily be back at 11.5K or above. Who knows?

on one hand, considering both of your current holds are in the 20ish market cap range, it wouldn't hurt to add in a top 5 position like ETH or NEO for some safe and steady growth

but on the other hand, if it's only gonna be 20% of your portfolio, like you're saying, realistically the gains are likely to be less explosive with a high market cap coin so you might be better off going with something like WTC

all in all i still struggle with deciding between diversification vs going balls deep too; i'm currently pretty diversified simply because i like so many of the different projects going on, but i feel like the truly sickening gains tend to come more often from the balls deep in one coin approach (high risk high reward ofc)

I took my 9 off because I thought we were falling into hell, but I am leaving them all there now, it's the point of DCA. My 8.5 hit but I am gonna be pissed I removed that 9 if it's up and away from here.

Love all those plays, I maybe even out the spread a bit would be my advice. I also like ICX for a long term play and it's a good buy-in price right now.

The thing about this bounce is that the bears destroyed the 230btc wall/support at 8500. Next time we get down there it'll probably be weaker, and the bears were exhausted which allowed this bump to happen so easily plus there was a bit of fomo involved.

There was a reason I put it at $8.5k in the first place though, anticipating a bounce. The sell off was so aggressive I thought it was gonna blast down further, it did hit $8.4k.

Could easily drop again though. That was the only fiat I had on hand so thought I'd like to have it in case we dropped all out <$7k.
