Well mainly it is about having more 'real money' compared to 'magic internet money' - mind you this is coming from someone that OMG and XMR were the ones that really put me on the board so to say, now looks like there might be a round 2 for people to load back up. I'm in mostly chitcoins anyway, and a 10cent to 4 cent drop seems like it can be recovered (with more upside) than a 8000 to 18000 reclimb.

I got stopped out, going to wait for the markets to turn before moving back in. I had too much tied up in ether plus 80 gpus for mining. Not going to loose the money I made.

I've traded throught 2001-2003 bear and 2008-2009 bear, hardest thing to do is sit on your hands and wait for the markets to turn.

In a bull market when everyone and their brother is talking about it and the news is on it 24/7, probably not a good time to buy. I've worked in the financial industry for over 20 years. You can almost time the markets perfectly by doing the opposite of what our clients want to do, 1999 a lot of clients wanted to invest in stock on their own, 2009 a lot of clients wanted to sell in march. We had a couple clients call and sell their portfolios at the exact market bottom.

A lot of crypto miscers who were around during Summer of 17 (last year) will remember the 2 month bear market.

It was just down for ~2 months and then you had insane upswings.

Doesn't it usually take like 5+ years to make ur money back in the stock market after a crash?

I'm not sure it will be much different. Mt Gox was people losing trust in security. Right now it's just a ton of people exiting who didn't know chit about crypto 3 months or a year ago who were looking to get rich quickly. If anything the scale of the panic could be on a higher order. Honestly don't think we've seen the worse of it yet imo.

Just to be clear I'm buying more personally lol I can wait out the panic not looking for lambos next month.
