Colecovision. How about that controller??? Was blown away how DK was virtually identical to the arcade. This was my next step up after Atari 2600.

Xbox 360. Had the NES, Super, and Nintendo 64 up until then. Played some hockey game with my 360 I got for Christmas. I played it like crazy just because I thought it looked so good.

Christ I still remember the excitement I had the night before I played the game. My dad brought it and kept it for my birthday. I was literally so pumped to play it the next morning I didn't sleep at all.

When it came to starting it up and playing it for the first time, it just blew me the **** away. It was unlike anything before it and I was honestly hooked from day 1.

PS2 era will always be the one that changed everything.

I first played Atari and then NES, SNES, PS1 and onward. To me the SNES graphics were a huge upgrade compared to NES. PS1 graphics were sick too, each gen felt like an upgrade though

The original Splinter Cell stands out in my mind as one of the first games where the realism truly blew me away

I remember that excitement when my father bought me Joe Montana 2 sports talk football for the Sega Genesis's. For Xmas of 91. It was the first football gave that actiusallt had commentary..

He kept it under the tree all night knowing I knew what it was and would bring it up and then joke I needed something educational and not a silly game as if he didn't buy it.

Still one of my happiest Xmas

I remember being super impressed with Mario 64 / Wave Race / Ocarina of Time (yes would ride Epona around just marveling and listening to that GOAT soundtrack)...but the one that really blew me away was the first Uncharted. Those water graphics and jungle details were amazing

Spent a large amount of my early teens on this ****. Something about the graphics and huge fantasy monsters was pretty dope and I think everybody has a special place in their heart for their first MMO.
