Yep, this is why I've never gotten one I've always been super healthy though. Immune system was always strong last few years I've betrayed it and its catching up.

Bro I know how you feel, I’m in midlands in England and I woke up with a “cold” two days ago today I’m aching all over headache eyes hurt sore throat coughing keep shaking and shii - flu sucks

Unlike polio there is no cure for the flu. There is also no way to tell if widespread flu inoculations have any effect at all. The flu is also very rarely a life threatening illness.

If it is the flu, you're not gonna die by it. only the very young (toddler age and below) and very old (75 years of age+) are dying from it.

Funny thing is, the hospital I work at mandates that we get vaccinated. If we don't then we have to walk around with a mask for 9 months (the length of the flu season) every day we're at work, and the strain we were given doesn't even work against this years virus. This strain isn't particularly bad, its just that the vaccine this year was useless so even if you got vaccinated there's still a chance you'll get sick.

Do everyone a favor and go to your local community college and take a semester of introductory microbiology. You'll spend 2 weeks on vaccines alone.

1. Vaccines haven't contained thimerosol (a mercury derivative) in over 10 years, and even if it did it was in trace amounts, and its not even the bad form of mercury (methylated mercury) which you ingest 100X the amount of (compared to a vaccine) when you eat a can of albacore tuna.

2. The virus itself in the vaccine is a mixture of dead and attenuated. Meaning, it cannot replicate and has no virulent factor to make you sick. your white blood cells come along (ingest the dead and attenuated viruses) and create receptor proteins on the outside of their membranes that are chemo-sensitive which means that if a live version of the virus invades the chemicals the virus gives off will attract WBC's to them like a radar.

3. When people say they get "sick" shortly after getting vaccinated, its not the flu from the strain of vaccine they received. Its the white blood cells eliciting an exaggerated immune response to the introduction of a foreign body. These are the same people that will experience the same symptoms by simply getting a splinter.
