IMO perfect for scalping opportunities, but we're still very much in a bear trend. Expecting we might hit 5-6k in the coming days/weeks.

I'm excited as phuck. Going to load back up boyos. Christmas gonna come 11 months early.

I think you've entered the market in just the right time, might make some good $$ regardless of your picks/strategy in the following weeks

Dead serial. Why wouldn't I be?

Or are you another one of those non TA blind faith boyos? Same one who thought we bullish again after the dead cat from 10k to 14k a few weeks ago.

We have to break 10500 convincingly to even have the remote possibility of some kind of short term trend reversal.

Re-quote me in a few days.

But for all those not in the know, btc broke a looonggggggg 10 year logarithmic growth trend. It will take time for recovery. And by time I do not mean days or a few weeks.

The anti TA crowd seems to think it's some wizardry like tarot card reading. What they don't understand is that it's not seen as gospel by those who use it but rather what to look for in an "it can go up or it can go down" scenario.

I figure I keep a good chunk in ETH while throwing a bit into a few different ones that take my fancy. Not dropped much into this tbh so not too worried about losing it.

im not anti TA at all. I haven't seen a single TA analysis from anything saying 5-6k btc. No one was even saying 8.5k btc until the trend reversal.

Use some hindsight to act like you called it in whatever made up time frame you can use. Could take 2 weeks to a month but once it hits that price point goddammit you called it

It does give you some levels though for a vague idea

its pretty much a perpetual hindsight machine since its reliant on price action already made

This. Absolutely NO ONE was saying "5-6k btc" a month ago going by the TA. No one was saying that even a week ago. Now that it dipped suddenly 5-6k btc looms according to BTC. TA only gives you vague ideas it doesnt allow you to predict the market.

This took me all of 5 minutes to make.

Now tell me. What exactly on that recent chart activity signals to you strong bullish reversal?

Just lol.

Miles away from the 100ema and ichi is on Uranus.

Notice the next strong level of support? 5400-5500 boyo.

Again, I could be wrong, but I'm sticking to that prediction. Unless there is a VERY convincing rally here, it's going to fall lower.

to be fair the RSI shows that it's oversold, look at what happened nov 13th when RSI was touching the lower limits - touched the nearest support (5.5k) and then jumped up to 15k.
then we see the same thing again after mid-december to mid-january but that period was full of FUD and market manipulation - now, I don't say the charts look bullish, but the general market sentiment seems to be just a tad bit better than the majority of the past 4 weeks

You're acting like TA is some static practice where you chart once and just let the market go.

TA is a constant monitoring tool where you spot new patterns and trends and adjust accordingly.

And just lol@nobody predicted 8.5k btc. That's how I know you're following nothing but bitcoin crypto maximalists/shills on youtube and pump groups on twitter whose viewership solely hinges on the green lambo days, not on severe market corrections like this.

Try following some real, unbiased market sages like PeterLBrandt. He was predicting 8k as soon as btc breached 20k months ago.

You'll be amazed what kind of great advice you'll find once you remove the emotional and financial attachments from the equation boyo.

If it does get to 5k, that will be the bottom (maybe lol)

Or it will just crash forever like crude oil after that bubble burst 9 years ago

If it crashes through 5k support then I've got some bad news....

I'm hoping it doesn't, because that would be some severe psychological damage for the overall market.

Then again, I'd say a correction of this magnitude was long overdue, as you always need fresh new blood at more reasonable prices to keep the market buoyant during capitulation. The real problem is what does the 'general public' now view as a bargain price? 2-3k was considered quite steep not more than 7 months ago. Things have moved fast.

This. It's easy to see when we're downtrending, and buying a downtrend is literally the same as buying a car immediately after watching it get into a wreck. Just because it's cheap doesn't mean it's a great thing to buy.

Could this be the bottom? Maybe, but we're far from a confirmation.

the ''general public'' doesn't think in terms of bargain prices. They think of terms of a failing project and ''whoever bought those coins last month lost 50%''.

Have it fall down to 2k and not even 3% of the current investors will believe in it anymore.

While I kind of agree with you, I'm more referring to new blood that has yet to enter the market. They are not quite as concerned about the 70+% recent drop off as it did not put their own pockets in the red.

But when you look at someone who has (for example sake) $5k of initial capital....the psychological difference of being able to purchase 1 entire bitcoin vs. 0.25 back when it was $20k is substantial. That disparity is further magnified the less money you have to toss into the market.

That's also a great reason why new investors tend to go directly into alts, as they feel they're getting a lot more 'value' from getting 100 whole EOS tokens vs. 0.01 buttcoins.
