For people outside the US: Philadelphia has the worst sports fans in the US. It's also one of the most ghetto cities in the US, and several parts of it resemble more than a passing resemblance to Mogadishu. It's also the only city in the US where the government bombed part of it.

In 1985, Philadelphia police used a helicopter to drop two bombs on a house during an armed standoff. The bombs ignited a fire that killed 11 and destroyed 60 homes. The whole thing was so fuked. MOVE is trash, and there were children in the homes. Just bad news bears all around.

Eleven people (the 'founder,' five other adults, and five children aged 7 to 13) died in the resulting fire, and more than 250 people in the neighborhood were left homeless. Survivors have insisted to this day that police fired at those trying to escape.

As a current philly resident. This is accurate. I live here because I go to college. I'm orginally from New Orleans. The chaos is just 20 feet from where I live. Shots, fireworks, screaming is all I hear. BRB no sleep tonight
