Only thing that rustles me is how fake it is. Why does every commercial/tv show/movie all of the sudden have to go out of it's way to show diversity? I have no problem with seeing different races, religions, etc out there, but it's just gotten to an absurd point that it is racist in itself. You don't think it's weird that the people who create this sit down at a table and decide we need "an asian here, muslim to the right, white girl in the back, etc etc"?

I noticed the same thing. All the commercials had some touchy freely bullchit about social justice. They turned a fuking Hyundai commercial into a cancer one somehow. Also a metro pcs into a social commentary commercial about diversity.

Talk about lazy writing. No witty or funny commercials like in the past.

The thing that no one understands is that if these commercials didn't work then they wouldn't all be running them. People who think like those ITT are a minority and don't come close to affecting these companies' bottom margins even if they do successfully boycott the brands.

Because in reality, nobody gives a chit about this "progressive agenda" bullchit, it's just new era retard conservatives that whine about it

Ironic that hypocrite conservatives complain about it instead of pulling themselves up by their own bootstraps and being the change they want to see in the world. But alas conservatives/republicans would rather whine about the world moving ahead of them aside from actually taking action

On a serious note given that most conservatives are poor this likely has to do with the fact that being poor = lower IQ which means conservatives tend to get outraged by menial things more often. If we banned sub 60k income people from this country this wouldnt be an issue

As much as I think the OP is a chit poster in general I think he is right in this instance. The ads were absolutely awful. Blatant pandering to "diversity" without any other point whatsoever. It is literally like a company that pays white dudes $20 an hour and every other race $15 an hour yelling RACISM IS BAD.

I think the message is fantastic, but again the presentation was terrible. You have however many black dudes on both teams, but you couldn't feature one of them for that commercial? You don't get to be celebrated just for existing idc what color your skin is. If you wanna be celebrated you gotta do something. Maybe I missed something though?

I don't think the racial diversity ones are a big deal at all. harmless at most.

the worst ones to worry about are the feminist ones or those that push myths like wage gap, unequal rights, etc. Were there any commercials like that this year??

Yup, the T-Mobile one with the babies literally said "we will fight for equal pay". Ffs ,even HuffPo did a takedown piece on the myth that is the gender pay gap. It literally doesn't exist, and it's still used as a talking point by SJW advertisers and leftist talking heads.

Of course, more cringe and insincere attempts. Rather than let things happen naturally, we have to shove it down everyone's throat and if anyone objects throw out the long list of over-used labels to quiet them down. I remember watching a clip about the Boston marathon, and the major every second sentence kept mentioning how diverse they are. Diversity can be great, we get it, stfu about it because we don't need to hear about it 24/7.

It's just more appeal to a back-patting PC society who are all circle jerking themselves. It's like a gay person screaming to a group of straight people: "HEY I AM GAY, I HOPE THAT'S NOT A PROBLEM!" While they all reply: "No-one said anything, it's not a problem and we are totally fine with it". 2 minutes later. "HEY GUYS I AM GAY, I AM PROUD I DON'T CARE IF YOU DON'T ACCEPT ME". Stfu.

The hilarious thing is now businesses, companies, any entertainment are probably scared to accidentally and naturally have something that shows more of one group. I can sense the emergency meeting: "HOLY sh*t, I just realized our latest movie has 66.7% white people! Emergency!". I mean it's no joke, it's happening with gender quotas etc, it's not being naturally diverse it's all one big sham. I bet every ad for major corporations has a "diversity checklist" that MUST be met, or else heaven forbid the wrath of the PC society will come down hard.

Let cards fall how they may, don't discriminate either way. Don't purposely have ONE group only, but when you purposely have another combination for no other logical reason then you're really doing the same thing. It's too obvious for any intelligent human.

When you are hand-picking people based on their race and rejecting others only based on their race/look you do realize that's soft form of discrimination as well? When you deny someone who is more qualified for a job because they are male and you have "too many males already", you realize that's discrimination as well? No-one objects here because it's discrimination that benefits them. Just hypocrites, nothing more.
