No you don't. You need a license to broadcast, not listen and even then there's some frequencies you can legally broadcast on in emergency situations.

Hey I'm a sports fan but still it blows my mind that people will go insane like this for a phucking game. Not for an actual important cause or crisis...a football game lol

Poor people. It's the only joy they get in life.

Rich people don't really care if their "team" wins or loses. They can easily drop money and be on a beach in an instant and experience way more enjoyment than a poor person celebrating a superbowl win while they're 3 months behind on rent.

Strong city I would never live in. No go zone of peace.
It is not so much the major events as the small day-to-day decisions that map the course of our living. . . Our lives are, in reality, the sum total of our seemingly unimportant decisions and of our capacity to live by those decisions. ― Gordon B. Hinckley

Pretty much this. I live here(not born though) and actually like it a lot but I am in an upscale area where none of these losers go with their rioting. Did see some shirtless people running on the Vine expressway trying to make it home after the game though. The degree to which this city needs sports to have any joy in their lives is pathetic.

You guys must get your info from Yahoo and Huffington Post, the impromptu parade down Broad street had about 150,000 people. The cops made three arrests, three. Tally from the "riots" 16 turned over planters, six broken windows, five broken traffic lights, Food Fight in a wawa and a collapsed awning. 6-8 people did flip a car which was incredibly stupid but overall I would say that 99.9993% of Philadelphians did a nice job of having a fun drunken march and the city looks fine today.

Don't fall for clickbait.

You know this thread was about the live police radio feed ? Not sure what you're going on about. There was an explosion reported and I doubt yahoo or huff compost are going to report what actually went down last night.

I would absolutely love to see US cops come out in force like that. Along with bean bag guns. Break some ribs, jaws, and arms.

A lot of people dont know this but most of the people who live in philly have been here their whole lives. The only place they know is philly, they know nothing else. The majority of people I've met from philly have been extremely narrow minded. As many people have mentioned, this city thrives off of sports as it doesn't have that much going on. A lot of my friends who live here take trips up to NYC or DC just to have fun. Philly is overrated TBH
