Use your brain for critical thinking and look at the facts to come to a logical conclusion. Why would a superhero movie with EIGHTY fukin reviews have a 100% rating? Is it possible that it's that good? I suppose there is always a possibility since we haven't seen it. Is it probable though? Hell no dude.

The truth is you just want to judge me and call me a racist and it kind of sucks man, specially cause I'm definitely far from a cringy reddet right winger like many people on misc. I've presented a clearly logical case here, if you can't see it I suggest you take a look in the mirror and assess your own bias.
Nah brah I actually appreciated your earlier post too for being more rational than just calling me an autist (lol). I still think a lot of posters on here the past few days have more often than not brought up race in these threads than a general disliking of comic book movies.

Yea but everything is a matter of degrees. There is definitely a subsect of ultraliberals that try to portray movies like this as some sort of great advancement for black people. It definitely is a positive to show powerful black characters in a movie. Some black kid will see that and love that chit. But it's not like some MLK chit lol it's just another action flick.

So stop pussyfooting around the question: are you ready to admit there may be some bias here if there is a ONE HUNDRED PERCENT positive rating with 80 freakin reviews? You really gonno try to claim that we're azzholes for thinking there is something fishy going on? Just saying, it's a good exercise to admit your own bias once in a while, amirite? life is weirdlife is strange

I guess it's easier not to think about it and just call everyone who disagrees racist though. Like I said in other threads I don't doubt it is a good movie. From the trailers and cast it has the makings of one. But to speak about it as "one of the best superhero movies of all time" is ridiculous. The hype around this movie is unbelievable. Just call it a good movie without the need to praise it as the greatest cinematic achievement in history.

Just like when the Ghostbusters remake came out. It's not that it was a terrible movie. No. If you didn't like it it was because you were a sexist chauvinist.
I agree. No movie should ever get a perfect score on rotten tomatoes or any other rating system. The fact that it does, means that there is considerable social pressure to confirm. Critics are merely complying with the rabid SJW's because they value their career.

Pretty sure RT openly stated they wouldn't allow any negative reviews to even be posted because any such review must inherently be racist (or something to that affect, I'm paraphrasing).

Yeah, that's actually a terrible reason to give a negative review. If the movie actually has something important to say and doesn't focus on chit action sequences fueled by CGI, that actually gives it points IMO.
Its a comic book movie, if you want to see a movie about slavery there is Roots, 12 Years a Slave, Django, take your pick.

The trouble with the highly anticipated Black Panther is that it doesn't know what it wants to be: super hero extravaganza, activist action flick, James Bond wannabe or Coming to America.

To me that's problematic and all of the posters on this forum championing a negative review reads as being a pretty thin-veiled admittance to some level of latent racism.

The film hasn't even been released. How the fuk do any of you know if it's good or bad yet?
You are trying to apply some logic to infer racist leanings however your logic is not sound. Whats wrong in questioning how come a run of the marvel mill superhero movie have 100% rating? And that question is specially relevant when any one who posts less than a perfect review risks getting labeled a racist. (which is precisely what you are doing)

Work on your logical reasoning skills.

Otherwise it would have been praised for being "dark" and having "a strong black lead" and "strong black female supporting actress".

Definitely self aware enough to step back and say I typed out my original post without fully thinking about the implications of what I was saying. I do understand why some people are skeptical. Guess I'm just getting triggered by some of the reactions I'm seeing across the web and unfairly making a blanket statement, which sucks. Being way too far to one side on most issues is usually a bad thing. I think the whole ultra-sensitive PC culture vs those who oppose it is a good example. There's a middle ground there that I think is a lot more rational and productive for conversations about the topic.

I fuked up. Sorry misc bros.

I do genuinely hope this a good film and even if more negative reviews come out, I hope people look at them objectively and don't get ultra defensive and make emotional, inaccurate conclusions from the hip.

Just smh at anyone who says there is no agenda/fake hype concerning Black Panther.

It's all really lulzy, just for comparison, the movie adaptation of Dark Tower with Idris Elba was universally blasted (rightfully so) and there was no "if you don't like it you're racist" backlash, despite turning it up to eleven by casting Elba as Roland.

Even so, it's just another comic book movie, but of course snowflakes have to push their bullchit.

Exactly this....just like all those threads where people couldn't believe the movie sold out a month before it's release date.

- This movie was teased during Cap Civil War and people have been waiting for it for a while...

- and it's also going to tie into Infinity War in a big way

So it's no surprise the hype that's around it. Not because of some PC agenda trying to be pushed
