When he did lose weight, all he did was eat less fast food, stayed off his computer and took long daily walks. What set him back was thinking that losing 10 or so lbs would immediately net him a GF. When it didn't, he threw the above out the window.

He could do it again if he stopped focusing on the results and trying to attain them prematurely.

Nope, at least that way people can't use her rejection as a copypasta or something. I dread to think how cold and indifferent it reads off, given her writing style.

The issue is that OP got a tonne of writing from people he didn't want, and a single line from her. She can do what she wants but that doesn't mean it stings for him like a guy writing a love letter and her response is a text message saying "Sorry but you're not my type".

The only difference is everyone reads the letter and gives far more elaborate responses on top of the above.
