And don't think that is not a very common choice for women looking to settle down. Plenty of people make that choice depending on their relationship goals (stability, marriage, kids, money etc)and there's nothing wrong with that. Just for me personally it does not make sense for my own relationship goal, which is just companionship and sex.

Yeah but I gained some of it back. I weight around 260 now. My highest I ever weighed was 275 pounds.
