I’m 26. Distance set at 30 km, age range 18-40. So I’ve “been” in Sydney for the past hour or so, selectively swiping. Few observations:

-defo less matches than I’m used to, would’ve usually had 20-25 swiping selectively in the first hour
- in terms of quality, Sydney really isn’t that great. Half the girls seem to be asian or Indian (who I’m not into personally)

You're not alone, the majority of Aussie guys would much prefer white girls. This is reflected in pricing of pros with Asians only commanding half the rate of white girls here. It's simply a case of supply and demand. Not only that but if you've noticed, they're all average looking Asians and their personalities reflect the fact that they have gone from 5's back home, to 7's here (in terms of level of attention they receive from high value men), so they're nowhere near as nice as they'd be still living in their home countries.

There are heaps of young, quality women on there, models and alike, I've dated plenty of them (8+'s), off Tinder, but to even be seen by them at all is a massive effort. Then to actually match them, get them out, not have them flake, and get them into bed is a whole other story. Best bet is to swipe right on (or superlike) the foreign girls, particularly the ones that describe themselves as 'new to Sydney', those are the unicorns, they're not completely ruined yet.

I’ll post my matches tomorrow, wanna see if someone else swipes on me. I swiped for about 5-7 mins. 50-60% Asians or Indian girls, whom I swiped left on. Only a handful of 8+s (maybe 10-15), none of whom I’ve matched with yet. A few cute, solidly above average girls that I matched with and who messaged me as well. And then the average/below average ones I swiped left on

Of course, it helps when a girl hasn't been offered $400 cash to join a normal looking guy for drinks and dinner yet. Once that happens her expectations and sense of entitlement naturally go through the roof.

If you’re an 8+ woman, you don’t even need tinder for those things. Went out with a girl once, 5’10”, Polish, model, hot af. Was planning to meet a girl next week, smart, good looking etc. Texts me today saying she hates herself for doing this but she jumped onto tinder too soon and she just got out of a really long relationship and she’s not ready for dating yet, wishing me all the best with my PhD work and hoping I understand.

You just have to train yourself that it's a hardcore numbers game. My flake rate is well above 50% on numbers, in some months it's been as high as 85%. And I only go for the number when a date is implied.

The past three weeks in San Francisco, I had 7/9 scheduled meets (date, time and location locked down) flake on me, including 3/4 tonight. I had three girls stacked, and when they all canceled, I went to a random fourth option whom I'm meeting in 30 minutes.

At this point I'm so desensitized that if a girl cancels it barely even registers.

These can sometimes be saved. I wouldn't worry about looking needy in future, the chances you will ever meet her are slim to none, so it's not like you're burning a bridge. Not looking needy only matters up to the point when you still have a realistic shot with a girl, when the chances drop to 1% or less it doesn't really matter how you look provided it's not so bad that it's going to go viral online or something.

The standard text in this situation is a comfort building/no pressure type of text, it can be long if needed. You can even say you're really disappointed as you were really looking forward to meeting her etc. and offering a chat on the phone to build more comfort. It's a low odds play, and at this stage I'm just more inclined to ignore girls like this and put my effort into other women that are being less difficult, but it does give you a 10% chance instead of a 1% chance of seeing her.

So true. I kind of laugh when guys say they only have a 10% flake rate or something. That is NOT a good thing. It's just an indication that you're aiming well below the level you could be dating or are investing way too much time in a girl pre-meet (probably both). At this stage I actually think ~50% flake rate is a good target range, it shows you're doing things right.

Yeah, game isn't just about what you type on tinder, you also have to know how to navigate around sloots IRL and how to lay the pipe down good. Yep. I think ive said it before in this thread, never turn down the opportunity to practice being Mario so when you need to deliver with the one that matters, it counts. This is definitely where you learn to communicate with a partner and ask what they like/what will get them off. If they get shy about it or make things difficult, no thanks Geoffrey.

Only time ive said "no" to that is a chick I know here recently. Is quiet, wont really give pointers, and is kinda boring. Went out with a Colombian Friday night. Pretty good looking, body was hnnngggg, clothes, nails, hair and make-up were all on point and made her look hotter than she really was. But her breath was so bad I didn't even want to kiss her. Yet I did, but didn't enjoy it. Was tryna get her to come to my place Sat night but she went NC. Zero phucks given, stank breath hoe.
