Think about:

1. How you respond if you're lonely, desperate and itching to get back.

2. How you would respond if you've completely moved on, are with someone new, you're forgotten about her completely, etc....

Go with #2.

Ignore, to be honest. Always the best option. If you honestly don't care, it's for the best to just ignore. If you are kind of hurt about the break up, it's still the best option because the worst thing you can do to someone reaching out for emotional validation is to just ignore them.

Odds are that with many of these kinds of texts like in the OP, it's just her wanting you to take her text as a sign that she's willing to get back, for you to approach her and then SHE gets to whallop you again with some kind of negative. She gets validated and feels empowered by slamming you down.

It's a trap, don't ****ing fall for it.

The odds are: No matter how you play this, you're not getting a BJ or anything and you're just going to humiliate yourself. Even responding with the "whose this?" or "<insert sister's name>" miscy cheeky bull**** is a waste. The WORST thing you can do to her is to ignore her, trust me. If you spark a fight, she'll just run her mouth and scream "THIS IS WHY I BROKE UP WITH YOU!" kind of rhetoric. You're not with her, don't listen to that naggy crap. JUST ****ING IGNORE.

You're not thinking emotionally. She's doing this because she wants validation. She wants to know that she has your dink on a leash and that all she has to do is show interest and you'll come running. She is on the back foot, she's loudly and clearly asking for your approval and you hold the cards at this point.

Showing a disregard for it is the way to go here if you want to smash later. 50/50 chance you'll get a wall of text back and she'll be thinking about what a mistake she made with you and how to get you back all day long.
