I never understood why these people are referred to as cowards that’s the last thing that comes to mind.I’m not saying it’s right he should be held accountable for his actions up to the death penalty but how is he different from a troop overseas taking down 20 enemy combatants his motives are just in the wrong place. Everyday day thousands of people with mental issues take their life but only a few decide to take out those who believe cause them suffering whether it was justified or not.

F'n Broward County, in a "affluent" neighborhood no less. HS of 3K+ students.

This kind of crap would be hard to pull in Miami-Dade county.

My HS (2K+ students) was locked the fk down, but I guess it's safer to go to school in a "bad" neighborhood.

Brb Multiple armed Cops on campus
Brb Security at all entry points
Brb All classroom doors automatically lock
Brb You fight, all involved = automatic arrest

And this was over 10 years ago, so it's even more strict now.

14 injuries, 7 fatalities, some adults

Eh...these mass shooters, although not specific, definitely have a motive in mind and want to cause pain and terrorize in their own way.

Mass shooters IMO ARE domestic terrorists. I know it can sound like a stretch though.

But they don't have an affiliation to a group that's organizing these. It's just my opinion but most seem to have a '**** it all, tear it all down' mentality and just want to go out with a bang so they can feel they left some mark on the world. Terrorists are pretty much entirely doing it for religious and political reasons. The actual terrorists are easier to empathize with, oddly enough, since I'd probably be one too if my family was blown up in a drone strike.

There is zero evidence that abad dietcan lead to school shootings, but do we always need evidence to make connections?

The media need not even be violent; just simply sitting and watching a few hours of advertisements will dehumanize you to great extents, let alone watching and listening to the filth we see today. Even now as I sort through the photos of this shooter, what do I see? Pictures of him in bandannas. Pictures of him posing with guns and knives like some urban-youth gangster - and where do you think this behavior is learned? Did he just think of this out of thin air? If you gave a bandanna, guns and knives to a jungle tribe would they have even theslightestidea to wrap it around their necks, and make poses like a Cripz gang-member?
