This what im talking about. I dont see how adding more guns will solve anything. This kid got his gun legally. Changes are this wouldnt have happened had more checks and balances been in place but america would rather live in the wild west and shoot at each other than do something more sensible.

That kid, David Hogg, who’s a senior at the school and spoke to reporters so professionally beyond his years, gives me hope for that generation.

If you haven’t seen or heard of him yet there are videos online of him and I was impressed and agree 100%.

Something needs to be done.

i think scotland is pretty rural though. maybe a better comparison would be rural parts of the US, idk.

whole thing pretty depressing tbh. if i get a chance one day i am comin back to the motherland tho.

you agree with nebulous platitudes. some of us are sperg engineer types and when you say stuff like "it's time we do something" and "we need to have a tough conversation" and shiit, you might as well be sayin nothin. im ready for your quantifiable idea. lets do metal detectors at every high school at every door, or control access some type of way

Do I recognize WESTERN SOCIETY is ****ed up? And in the USA our School shooting trend is ****ed up? Yes. I DO NOT AGREE This should be a gun control debate.

This is BY FAR a societal issue, which is only going to keep getting worse. I've said it many times we are raising WEAK YOUNG MALES into a world where they are NEARLY WORTHLESS and they are giving up before toughing it out and carving out a place in this world, because they are not preapred for the harsh reality of the REAL WORLD we live in. And we are surprised 1 in 10,000,000 snap?

The problem is society is niave, and social media has made it TOO EASY to discredit ANYONE against change, even if that change is bad, and not for the bettering of society. YOU ARE EVIL FOR RESISTING CHANGE!

THE ONLY GUN you should be able to buy as a US citizen is a handgun. Period. No more of these semi automatics or whatever. It’s over.

You get your 2nd amendment rights still as you’ll have a gun, you’ll be limited how much ammunition you can have per year. End of story.

No reason this hasn’t been a law yet- gun bros want there guns, well there ya go. You still get your gun.

So how does that stop the gangs from getting their fully-auto AK-47s?

"Less gun crime means nothing! *insert skewed misleading stat about Chicago here* .. *insert skewed nit picked random state/country that has non existent gun laws here*

NYC gun crime is going down every year and they just had a record low for gun crime/murders. LA too two HIGHLY STRICT cities.. Also, CHicago isnt even in the top 15 for highest gun violence. Fox news lied to you bud.."Chicago has strict laws! what about that!!!!". ...except:

60% of the guns used in gang related crimes and 32% used in non gang related gun crimes came from OUTSIDE OF THE STATE. (hint: Illinois borders states with damn near non existant gun laws. weird.) nit picking stats is fun. let me try. Louisiana is ranked 43rd on 'most lax gun laws' in the country. they rank #2 in most gun deaths in the country. but but but surely no laws on guns help..right!
(Source:https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/...=.baf705887c94)

States with highest rate of "death by firearm":

1 - Alaska. No permit required for firearm. (80% suicides. so lets not count this, for your sake)
2 - Louisiana. No Permit required for firearm.
3 - Mississippi. No Permit required for firearm
4 - Alabama. No Permit required for firearm.
5 - Arkansas. No Permit required for firearm.
6 - Montana. No Permit required for firearm.

i destroyed you. But to add insult to injury. Look up highest gun crime cities. I promise you youll notice a trend that they are all in a poor economic situation and mostly in the south. Blame the lefties if youd like...it has nothing to do with them. if no murder law existed, murders would go up. if no assault law existed, more people would get punched in the face. laws are clearly doing SOMETHING or else we wouldnt have them. RIP
I'm glad you guys brought up how lax Indianas gun laws. You right wing guys loooove bringing up liberal Chicago. Guess where a massive amount of the guns used in Chicago are from? (hint: the answer is Indiana)

m8 a handgun is generally a semi-automatic and accounts for some giant massive percentage of gun deaths, so...

you have no damn reason for an AR15. Yesterday wasn’t a handgun.

Guns and ammo should be free to everyone. Just have baskets of them in every store or health clinic like condoms, ready to go. Simple. Where's my peace prize

I know and I feel fuking awful for the USA. I'm not hating on you brahs. It makes me sad and I feel sick like once a week when hearing news from the USA.

Things are just too far gone and complex, I don't know what it's going to result in. I'm not entirely confident to say that a societal collapse isn't coming, and if the USA collapses, that has massive ramifications around the globe.

Dunno what's more predictable: another mass shooting in the US by a mentally unstable person with access to guns, or the standard "2nd amendment, constitutional rights" response from Seppo miscers.

BRB Australia hasn't had a mass shooting in 25 years, I wonder if that is somehow related to the lack of guns available?

The current degenerate culture that breeds these FA supreme gentlemen mass shooters I believe is the root cause of this epidemic. You can’t treat it by just saying we need more mental health awareness and you can’t ban and remove all guns from the streets without starting another civil war/revolution.

Are you on drugs? Most handguns people own are semi auto. Why do people always use that as a buzz word that means weapon of mass destruction or something

Your convictions are not an argument. I'm really sorry.

AR 15's defend lives as well. And it won't stop a psychopath from using another firearm (like handguns which you seem ok with) like Virginia Tech, or another weapon.

No reason this hasn’t been a law yet- gun bros want there guns, well there ya go. You still get your gun.
Most handguns are semi automatic spud.

Again comparing two countries with wildly different crime culture.

In a nation with high rates of drug-related violence and homicide, in addition to the typical threats of home invasion or aggressive assault, it's valid to own a firearm. We thwart as many or more spree shootings as are committed, but you won't hear about those.

So tell me: what would be the end result in a nation with higher gang membership and drug related crime if we were to enact Australian-model weapon amnesty?

So you think having a gun will save you from the police, government and military? I'm sure that will work out well for you buddy.
Your right. They die other ways and that's perfectly acceptable? lol retarded logic is retarded.

And 300 million guns deters any Govt from turning on its own people. Without them there is no deterrent. And if you think your politicians care about you... I've got some altcoins I'd like to sell you
Are you not entertained?
