Does anyone else hate other people?

I’ve honestly gotten to the point where I just can’t tolerate the average person. I don’t trust them, and I constantly get burned. Sure, there are sometimes when it’s my fault for not getting along with other people, but some of this **** they do is just ridiculous. I hope this is just a phase and I eventually get over it, but it’s getting progressively worse for the last two years. Maybe that’s why I’ve returned to bb.com for the first time in years.

Are you sure it isn't just a coping mechanism for a lack of social skills, social anxiety, etc?

Hate only destroys you in the end. All that stress will slowly kill you and your enthusiasm for life.

I used to rage in silence at people who would cut me off on the road or who would take forever writing checks in the grocery check out line.

But I learned to practice patience and understanding. They are people just like me trying to navigate this life. No point of being rustled over a random stranger. Just let the little things slide.

Nah, don't hate other people. I'm sure there are few out there that might inspire me to make an exception.

Do I find other people difficult? Annoying? Boring? Uninformed? Closed minded?

Yeah sometimes.

Mostly though I'm just socially awkward, a little weird, and find the whole thing tiring and I've also been burned a lot/have trust issues because I think some types see "kind, caring, easygoing, non-confrontational" and think "stupid doormat" or "person I can use without fear".

Still get lonely and want company/connection though. So I know I need to try and find those few decent people out there somewhere.

Weird is a good thing. If people are not weird in one way or another then they're boring. People get attracted to people who are unique in one way or another.

Yeah, it’s already consumed me. I don’t rage in silence anymore, I’ve become pretty vocal and bitter about it. I do try and be more empathetic, but that doesn’t make me want to be around them. It’s usually not strangers, too often it’s people that I once knew well and once trusted

Vast majority of people are degenerate evil fuks and I wish I could escape but there is nowhere to escape to. I am trapped here in this plane of existence. I used to be niave to how people really are and assumed wrongly about strangers but some things have reminded me lately why I was a loner in high school. Fuk it really sucks and it's depressing but it is what it is. I don't hate anyone but I'm going to work on keeping my mouth shut and keeping to myself

Yes, the a$$hole types do but a lot of ppl don’t and see those qualities as strengths, not weaknesses. It takes more courage to remain kind and caring while surrounded by bitter and angry ppl than it does just taking the easy road and going along with the crowd.
