Married Gays are allowed to adopt children now? Wtf

I'm not homophobic but how is it fair for a baby child to be adopted by two men?

A Mothers love and female parental figure I would say is a childs need

LGBT idiots, It is selfish for gays to do this

Maybe it would be ok if the child was say nearly a teenager and lost their parents.

I will preface this by saying that I do not know any statistics when it comes to adoption or foster care. But, i would be willing to bet that in most of those cases someone within the family would adopt regardless of their sexual orientation.

Why would this be an issue? My sister is gay, married and she and her wife have a child that she carried via artificial insemination.

They are better than a lot of heterosexual parents I know.

When there are simply not enough people willing to adopt every child looking to be adopted the idea of keeping to the 1 man, 1 woman ideal that conforms to what society deems appropriate is simply not feasible.

A loving parent is a loving parent, male or female. If a single male can adopt why can't 2 men neither option would have a female parent/role model? But you've singled out the gay couple and not the single man adopting. Why is that? Could it be because they are gay? OP you may say your not homophobic but your words say otherwise.

Because if your sister adopted a boy, he would not have a role model to develop into a man, do sports with, go hunting/fishing. The boy/girl would also be lacking a protector

Lets say the house get broken into by a violent criminal or Parents and Child get Mugged(Non US without guns) the child would stand a much better chance of avoiding injuries if a male is there to protect

Not really, you know how many pro athletes grew up fine despite being raised by a single mom? Like LeBron James among many others.

I’m sure there are lesbian moms who take their kids to do “man” activities anyway. And lolwut at the last part, I don’t think breaking to harm a child happens nearly enough in homes without males to say no to gay moms
