In Poland they have a Vodka brand popular with young people - Soplica. My first try was the cranberry version - Mm-mmm. But I can't have Soplica now, it's too nice and I end up drinking far too much.

We used it a lot where I’m from. I did have a few British friends in college who used it as well to be fair.

It's a shame it's not popular use now. It must have been in common vocab for what, 3 years max? It's better than stuff like "The dog's bollocks", haha.

It's being used as a vehicle for black empowerment by liberals and the black community in general. Then there are those, like me who are "Enough already, it's a superhero movie that just happens to feature blacks". Another group are those who generally like these kinds of movies; "Awesome marvel movie, the best so far", and those who think it doesn't deserve so much praisebecauseit's just one of the 200 other movies of this genre we've had to endure coming out in the past decade.

So it's either a love for what it potentially stands for and be vocal about it, hate it for what people are claiming it stands for and you vocalise back, or you can't get enough superhero movies and you vocalise every time one is released in the first place.

Getting out and being social, even with coworkers, is unbelievably helpful when a week has gone to chit. Glad to hear you're feeling better.

I distinctly remember some times where a g/f would not only miss important social cues to simmer down, but where I could actually get up, walk away, shut the door, and hear her still talking on the other side. Levels must be approaching 9,000 at that point. If somebody's just mindlessly abusing your time/attention, time for them to plz go.

You know I didn't notice Bourbon was adding coke, that's how relevant it is. I see whisky, I assume it's neat.

I drink plenty of it neat, trust me.

But if I'm sitting poolside etc, it's with coke and ice. Haven't been drinking much beer lately.

I linked up with my brother and another friend. Went to this bar they’ve been trying to get me to hit up forever. It was a pretty cool experience, tried 4 new beers I’ve never heard of and they were excellent. I’ll be back for sure.

80% of British slang goes right over my head. One of the guys was Geordie and when he laid on the accent and the dialect he was damn near impossible to understand.

The average person is going to see it because its a Marvel movie, people on these boards and Reddit/twitter are using it to push their own agenda.

I'm going to watch it because I like Marvel comics and movies and it got a 7.9 on IMDB

That's pretty much how every Marvel/DC movie should be approached.

Like superhero movies? - Watch it
Like overblown CGI Hollywood movies? - Watch it
Like this particular hero? Watch their movie.

I'm done with the first two, there's just too many coming out and I already have movies from decades ago which still stand today to watch. Is anyone going to watch Black Panther or Batman vs Superman 40 years from now like people still watch Casablanca, A streetcar named Desire, 12 Angry Men etc? Hell no.

There was a misc thread several months back where OP asked for movies that only occur in one room. I took every movie from that thread, and a few gents mentioned 12AM
