Guy that walk around the gym holding their gym bags

Why can you not leave the bag in a locker, wtf is in your bag that you need so badly to necessitate carrying it to each machine, bench, etc .This is the cringiest thing nd it only appears to be done by gym shark wearing fitness fad dorks. I can understand if you're at an empty powerlifting gym or something, but in a busy commercial gym you look like a loser.

Is this a new thing or is there something i'm missing here?

I'm not the sort of guy who does this. But you seem like you're more upset than the stereotype behind that sort of person rather than what's in the bag.

I keep a bag of chalk in mine, some bands, wraps, and a bottle of water. Don't need them for everything but it's good to have them around when I need em.
Also keep my wallet, keys and phone in there. My gym charges for lockers so carrying it around just makes sense.

I rarely see these people take anything out of the bags, they just carry them as if its an accessory.

the longer you lift and use the same gym, the more you realize, there are things you need to keep with you. I carry a gallon of water around so I keep a tricep rope, two handles, 2 sets of wrist wraps, 1 pair of knee wraps, my wallet, my keys, another water, in case I run out, jump rope, and my sweat shirt in my bag...oh, and butt wipes just in case I need to take a sh*t, to avoid using their sand paper TP

weirdo, stop watching people in the gym. You rarely see them take anything out implies you are watching everything they do.

This is a good idea.

I usually wipe my anal glands and urinate all over the station, which seemed to work for years. Prehaps I should try using a bag instead.

Will report back my findings.

My gym’s lockers don’t have locks or the holes to lock things. And even if they did, would have to carry a key that could fall out of my pocket in like half the exercises I do.

My bag has my car keys, wallet, etc.

You’d have to be an idiot to leave those things in a locker room that doesn’t lock. And when they are in my pockets they get in the way lifting and running. So I just sit the bag where I can see it and work out.

This. Granted, I don't carry it around station to station - that sounds a little extreme. But yeah set it in a nearby corner where it's visible (small gym, no thieves etc.) - obviously each person should do whatever is best for their own circumstance. Nobody else's business so long as it doesn't interfere with others.
