Yes this thread is sickening me with the casual acceptance from a lot of miscers of the "mainstream" use of tinder.

im 23 so my age demographic is basically 19-24 aka university aged girls that are at university. They also all drink.

Exactly! Tinder is a hook up app. While there is a very, very small percentage of people that meet through Tinder and end up in relationships, the majority are hook ups. Also, we really don't know the actual success rate of LTR's on Tinder as it's only been around for 5 years. 5 years is hardly LTR material.

Yes trashy women frequent both more than quality ones but that doesn’t mean good women arent there either. The truth is social drinking environments and online dating are the best platforms for finding girls. They give you access to the most girls with the least effort, if you are only hitting on girls you happen to come across the chances are so much slimmer of finding someone compatible.

Probably true in the UK, but not the US. My girl is probably around your age and doesn't drink at all except for the rare glass of wine or cocktail when we go out together. I drink like a fish though (I have double standards regarding this and many other things).

I may have found her "boring" when I was younger, but this works for me now.

Just realized that OP is in the UK. Very different culture to the US; a lot of people in the US have hobbies outside of pubs/bars.

UK and US gotta be different though. But anyway you have to be social to get girls, period. Most miscers aren't so they just want a quiet girl that likes nerdy **** like them. 90% of girls are outgoing and like to go out and be social. They don't want anyone who is awkward around them.

You can find quality females anywhere, but.....different places have different odds of that happening. Looking on Tinder for anything other than a hookup is just dumb. Clubs are meat markets, usually for people who like to drink and sloot it up with multiple partners on the regular.

I mean if you're in college this is fine, but once you get pass the "wet behind the ears" stage of life this sh!t will get old fast. Adults find partners through social activities and friends. Responsible adults, do responsible things in their daily lives. That means they have a stable job, don't get wasted at the club, and have a good network of friends and associates.

Screening is needed wherever you meet them, sure tinder has the lowest hit rate but the pool is that many times larger than anything organic which makes it worth it

Moreover it allows access to different types of people. I work in a small finance advisory, i come across lawyers, accountants, business owners/directors. Maybe i’d be better off dating a nurse or something but i never meet them organically
