Yea just South it's high desert and you got the foothills that are clear too, but a 30 min drive from the city and you're in the alpines. Lol at Boise being crowded though, just shows again how different perceptions can be depending on where you're from. I've been to CDA when I was younger, so if that's where you grew up I can see why you'd think that. Awesome place, but too expensive and not a big enough job market to consider.Lol that is only in comparison to somewhere like Arizona...
3 hours north or so it can get nice, but that isn't really "Boise".
Coming from CDA when I got there I learned it was the "City of Trees" and my first thought is WTF are the trees. Boise is a lot like Salt Lake City (lite) heavily Mormon, but not that Mormon. High desert, but not that high. Crowded, but not "that crowded". Dry.

Suck it up butterball, you were just saying you could barely get 1800 calories in, which I find hard to believe. IIRC you are trying keto, give it some time. It's working like magic for me, I feel better, fat is falling off of me in globs (I leave a greasy trail everywhere I go), and I am not so hungry that I contemplate eating roadkill I see while driving around. after a few weeks if you can keep your face out of the carb feed bag, you should find it much easier.
I'm not running "keto" per se, kind of my own version where I eat less than 30g net carbs per day, about 110-130g fat / 190-230g protein calories are bouncing around 1900-2100 most days and losing about 2lbs per week without much strength loss.

Why are the calls for gun control receiving so much more media coverage? It's not the worst, not even close, and especially due to the failure by law enforcement at every level, it should be obvious why this happened. I initially thought because Trump is in office, but Vegas was far worse and there wasn't nearly this much attention on gun control. Kinda weird.
So why is this shooting different? Because they have the perfect spokesperson and they are running with it.
Spokeperson #1 CNN intern with a parent who was in the FBI. He is the perfect tool to be coached and molded into a political machine. This is the MSM running purely off of emotion and feels. "You disagree with what a brave survivor of a school shooting has to say about regulating these dangerous weapons? You must be a terrible person!!!!"
Spokesperson #2. A gay woman of color(she is assumed gay, not sure if she is actually). She connects with 3 categories of people. Women, PoC, and LGBTQBBRAAPPPPPP. People will be likely to believe or follow something if they can relate to them somehow. You cant just have a cis while male as an activist. Think about it

My VP9SK is up to 1,475 rounds now. This gun is a winner. I might sell a Glock or two to buy into the VP series further.
*Zero malfunctions or stoppages of any kind, obviously. Overall I'm up to 6,365 rounds through VP pistols with 1 stoppage, that being a FTRTB with cheap weak 115gr bulk ammo in the first 150 rounds through a gun (a gun that has gone about 3,300 continuous rounds of perfection since then)

lol smh...so my mom is coming in town and I had both my mom and my ex ask if they could meet each other. Obviously there are some lingering feelings there on her end and my mom loved my ex but she never dated her and dealt with her.
So I OK'd them going to lunch together because I know they will probably do it anyway without my permission. I know my mom will tell me that we should try to work things out, etc. but I've been seeing this doctor recently so I'mma see how that turns out

SAF called yesterday, threw me off as I was expecting a 360 area code for a job offer. Inquiring about membership fees and immediately said something about Soros pumping 20 bagillion dollars into evil take over the world funds and they need my help. Couldn't really say no, when I mentioned doing it through their website they mentioned they lose 4% through fees but only lose 1% over the phone and I had just spent $5 on a coffee anyway so I re-upped for a year.
Then SAF immediately asked about a lifetime membership for only $150 and that I'd receive a belt buckle. No thanx jeff, slow down and call me in 12 months.

The gun control debate (from the anti side) is not logical. It doesn't make sense because it never has.
