I don't know that being the age of majority aka adult to buy a gun is necessarily and infringement. That ones' complicated but I'll say, no, a minimum age of 18 is not an unconstitutional infringement.
Carry licenses, yes, infringement, but there are more and more states going Constitutional carry + states that allow car carry without a license + quite a few that allow open carry without a license
Waiting period of handguns is just a handful of stupid libtard states, but yes, infringement.
21+ for handguns from an FFL is an infringement, but in many (most?) states an 18 year old can buy a handgun from a non-license holder, private sale.
FOID is of course an infringement and obviously doesn't apply to most people in this country.
The only one that makes sense to me is 18 years old to buy a gun.

So I'm pretty sure I have concluded thatControlled Labs Orange Brainwashis not good to take at a full dose on an empty stomach before going to the range, because I find it too difficult to slow TF down. Shooting pistol strings with par times of 10/12 seconds in like 5 seconds, with the expected increase in group size, because it's just so hard to slow down lol. For really fast and close stuff with a flash sight picture it's pretty great but when I have to force myself to slow down and line up sights for say 10 rounds at 15-20 yards into a 6-8" circle I just burrrrrp as if the target was only 5 yards away, look at shot timer, pick it up, look at target, BEEP goes the end of the par time and I'm like...damn I left an eternity on the clock BRB half the shots in the 8 ring or the -1 fuuuu
VP9SK up to 1,670 rounds (all perfect of course). Time to slow down my shooting (both for the scenario above, and just fewer rounds per trip with more focus on everything being done with a specific goal) so I can entertain the notion of panic buying something or other without shooting up all my 9 in the meantime

Good news, bad news . . . was on the company meeting webcast and I apparently got nominated for a performance award that ran up the chain pretty far. I was in the list for the 6 finalists announced with 3 people to receive $5,000 bonuses. I wasn't one of them--so I only got $500.
Better than a kick in the butt and nice to get that far up into tht process and be in the executive conversations. But that bigger check would have been nice.

So what do we need to do? We should make background checks more 'comprehensive' and raise the age to own a firearm. Oh and ban bump stocks too. Makes sense.

I do think we need some type of system that prohibits truly mentally ill people from buying/owning a gun, but the problem is it needs to be done perfectly and with some type of due process to not be screwing over people that it shouldn't impact.

If it wasn't for the (Democrat) political bull**** interfering with LE doing the job the correct way using everything that's already in place, he would not have been able to pass a background check
This is legit srs 100% the fault of Democrats and the government. Period.
Well, other than it being 1,000% the fault of the psycho shooter as he is solely responsible for his premeditated murders

ETA: Just did some googling and found this quote below from the below link. It's obviously a conservative site, but does provide lots of links for the references. Does seem like that's the policy the sheriff implemented.
"…The results speak for themselves. As our sheriff, I successfully implemented new policies and approaches to public safety that sharply reduced violent crime and burglary rates – the sharpest declines in the entire State of Florida. My innovative initiatives also helped keep children in school and out of jail, greatly expanding the juvenile civil citation program and making issuance of civil citations mandatory for BSO deputies….I will build upon these impressive successes in my next term as Sheriff."

ARLO cameras def need some fine tuning, flag in the front keeps setting that one off, backdoor one is next to the Laundry, so it gets triggered when the wife does laundry, on the bright side I get to send her messages about mixing colors and whites and other annoying nonsense when It trips.
Saw in the twitter bash of that GIF above, that the blue tape around the clip signifies blanks? My gun ranges are usually someone's field, ain't be in one of them fancy concrete shooting boxes before. Can someone confirm?

There's no blank adapter attached to the end of the barrel, and you can see gases escaping, they're not blanks. A blank won't cycle unless the barrel is plugged. Not that that fukker has any business handling a live weapon.

Smithy Wesson stock trading halted ahead of earnings announcement, which is in 15 minutes. Who thinks it will be good? This is for quarter ending 12/31/17 so I think it will be a disaster. I'm sure they're getting a pickup right now though.
I think they are likely to go bankrupt or be taken private soon. Along with Remington. And Colt. Talk about an industry that can't get its sh!t together.

Bingo, down 20% in after hours
'American Outdoor Brands Corp. AOBC, -17.64% which makes Smith & Wesson firearms, said Thursday afternoon that flagging demand for handguns is likely to remain for the next year or more, and its shares plunged 20%. The company reported much lower revenue than expected in fiscal third-quarter earnings Thursday, and offered a revenue forecast that was even more off of expectations. "We believe that the new, lower levels of consumer firearm demand we saw reflected in the January NICS results may continue for some time," Chief Executive James Debney said in Thursday's announcement. "Going forward, we will operate our business under the assumption that the next 12-18 months could deliver flattish revenues in firearms."

Georgia lawmakers voted to nix a tax benefit for Atlanta-based Delta as part of a broader tax package approved Thursday, following the airline's decision to sever ties with the National Rifle Association.
The bill -- which includes a sweeping income tax cut -- cleared the state House on an overwhelming 135-24 vote, after being approved in the state Senate on a 44-10 vote. It now heads to the governor's desk.

lol that jet fuel tax exemption was a pure carve-out to Delta worth $50 million...fuk those scumbags. Also good to see politicians grow some balls.
Although it will still go through in some way. Delta owns too many politicians. Nice to see the point made in any case.
