I’m actually aiming to get one before the end of the year. Looking at buying a complete one from Aero Precision since I’ve read they are good quality at a fair price. Once I get more familiar with it I’ll consider buying another one, but separate upper/lower and customize it a bit.

I have a shotgun for home defense, which is enough for a 3rd story apartment and a SW 9mm shield for carry. KS gun laws of peace and prosperity.

Aero's really good for the price. You can also buy Palmetto State Armory as a beater rifle. They're practically sold out right now, though. Lol

Good choice on the carry gun. I have the same one.

Heard the same thing when Obama was first elected...lines for days at Guns and Ammo stores--couldn't even find good brass, only Russian steel.

The only people who benefit from these dramatics are the shareholders of guns and ammo manufacturers--the average consumer gets sucked in and pays for it in the end.

They're not going to ban "assault" rifles.

If anything, they might try to pass legislation to restrict sales to anyone under 21. I don't see that one happening, either.

It'll eventually boil down to stronger mental health screening. Any *possible* restrictions will stem from that. Having four kids, myself, I wouldn't object to stricter security at all schools, public and private.
