Bros that've benched 315 natty

How the fuk did you get from 275 to 315? I've been stuck forever. Benched 275 for two sets of 3 today. Anything above that I can't rep, and my form breaks. My 1RM is around 300 atm

Also been gaining weight slowly, but looking fluffier by the day and the strength:bw ratio isn't improving. Was around 174 on the 1st of jan, weighing 181 currently. Help me get to 315 so I can start cutting for the summer

Do training block #1

Did this program In my PL days. Cutting now and still follow it for bench. I’m losing weight and gaining strength still

195 lbs and using 365 as my current training max

I had a similar problem. I was benching 295-305 for 1 rep could never break the barrier and hit 3 plates of peace and freedoms until I came across babyslayer. I went from 170ish lbs to 205lbs in 30 days. 100% srs. During this time I benched 2-3x per week and made it all the way to 345lbsx2. I had to stop there because I hurt my shoulder doing it.

Try following a powerlifting program perhaps? Or a powerbuilding approach.

Personally I found focusing on incline bench for a period of time helped my flat bench and lots of close grip paused benching.

There's probably better people to take advice from tho, my best bench was 315x4 at 210lbs, so my bench to bw ratio isnt really impressive at all

Amazing off the cuff rant.

I did my own mini babyslayer bulk to see what would happen. Conclusion: frogtech bloatmax bulking = natty cell tech.

I'd warmup, do 225x10, 245x5 275x3 then try my max, and if I didn't get it, finish with a set of 225 for as many as possible. Lots of dips, and pushups, decline was 3 set of 10 of 225. But this was when I was 21/22 and before I started really drinking so I recovered faster. Plus I'm 5'9 so bench is easier. Was probably 170ish

Did nothing special, did nothing but 5x5 all the way to 3 plates (srs)

Make sure your back is strong as fk, don't be lazy with face pulls and chit. I've already seen your bench vids, your technique seems good.

You gotta focus on your weakness son. Where is your sticking point? If mid to upper, it's tris, if lower, it's delts and pecs. If shoulder starts hurting then it's rotator cuff and you gotta focus on strengthening those. Don't do some cookie cutter crap people are proposing in this thread. You got to know thyself, and work on your weakness, know i'm sayin son? WELL DO YOU SON

Whilst I like George, I personally wouldn't say his advice is good if you're natty. This is a guy who's abused massive amounts of drugs and has well above average genetics. His training style is very high volume and high intensity for multiple hours a day, and is probably not appropriate for true natties

just my 2 cents

Idk brah. I just clicked on it with mobile and it opened but it’s too small to view. Try opening with mobile and emailing to yourself? It’s a good program, bench 3x per week

I never advocated mimicking babyslayer. I simply replied to the OP's question, answering how I benched 315. I went mini babyslayer bulk.

This is not 100% accurate, but it's relatively close.

https://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/other7.htm

Whenever I've hit a plateau, what I do is go back about 50 pounds, and work on squeezing more reps, and also on my form.

Can you do 225 x 12? If not, start there, then go up to 245, work that until you can do at least 245 x 8, then go up to 265 x 4, again, keep that form tight, don't cheat yourself. I always finish a workout doing my 90% max x 1.

If you can do 3 sets of 265 x 4, you should be able to hit 305.

Then you start at 225 again, 225 x 16, and so on until you can do 285 x 4, and that's your 315.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

took me all the way to 400 (along with a gradual increase in bodyweight)
Awesome pics. Great size. Look thick. Solid. Tight. Keep us all posted on your continued progress with any new progress pics or vid clips. Show us what you got man. Wanna see how freakin' huge, solid, thick and tight you can get. Thanks for the motivation.

I don't bench 315.. yet, but I'll try to help.

Bench press more often, or not as often. As much as 5x per week or as little as 1x every 7-10 days.

Deadlift more often, As much as 3x per week, or stop deadlifting for several weeks.

Cut out accessory work like: lateral raises, curls, tricep extensions/pulldowns, and bench/press/row/chin up more instead.

Honestly I just stopped doing flat altogether before I hit 300.

I put focus more on OHP, dips, incline bench for while.

I got uppity one day after a set of squats and wondered how much I could bench, and ended up hitting 3 plates.
