Trump came out and said he “likes taking the guns early and then worrying about due process.” Tucker Carlson hit the nail on the head when he said “If Obama said had that, Congress would be talking impeachment right now.”

But maybe this is a rouse. Maybe this was Trump’s plan all along: to say this chit and goose up gun sales as his way of repaying the gun industry for all their support, with no intention of actually following through with gun control? Talk about manufacturing demand!

Seems to be working. Now is the time to invest in ammo, apparently.

How often are civilians being gun downed by gangbangers and they've saved their own lives because they happened to have their AR-15 to defend themselves? There's no cope coming from me - we don't have guns walking around everywhere here so I don't have the need to carry one 'just in case'. Sport II is a good entry option, imo. It's more than suitable for casual gun owners.

This is a lousy response that doesn't hold up at all. If you happen to believe it does, you should leave the discussion up to thinking adults.

Not really. 18" Aero OEM requires a $150 rail, a front sight, and the tools to install the rail, and possibly remove and reinstall the barrel.

The Colt can be put together without tools.

Amount of times doesn't matter. Let me paraphrase what you are saying: " I want to disarm the general population of law abiding americans to make myself feel better about not having those rights, and so I can see headlines of more criminals attacking and killing people who have no recourse to defend themselves'

How is restricting access to one class of weapon disarming the general population? You're literally putting words in my mouth because either a) you want to be mad about something / need to blame someone or b) you actually lack basic comprehension skills they teach in grade 4

As I said before, I'm a US citizen and spend 3 months there a year where I have my own (non semi automatic rifle) guns.

The government is the voice of the people. Sure, you might be happy with them being your 'rulers' but I like to think of them as being the voice of the people, or at least they should be. Plenty of guns are more powerful than an ar15, so where are you drawing the line? Drugs are also illegal and that has gone amazingly well. You would just be creating another black market.

You are just a bitch boy happy to roll over for potential oppressors.

Because the point of the 2nd amendment is to allow the population to defend themselves against a tyrannicalgovernment. You can argue the merits of it or whether it ought to be changed or what have you, but as long as it exists, it is technically the case that disallowing certain weapons is disarming the populace against the threat of such a government.

Maybe that's okay in certain instances? E.g., should private citizens be allowed to own military grade missiles? I say no, and I also acknowledge that disallowing access to such weapons is, on some level, disarming citizens should the government become tyrannical. Just...be honest about it and know what the crux of the conversation is.

This is why your earlier comment was dumb.

Zero'd my Trijicon MRO to 25 yards today. It was making me shoot bottom left a lot and I think I adjusted it as best as I could.

Maybe next time I go I will do minor elevation/windness tweaks but I think some of it is working on my own accuracy.

I would only spend $200 in a red dot. I regret putting so much money into my laser/flash combo for my P320.

Anyone looking for good entry level AR - checkout out Radical Firearms - they use good parts and typically sub $500 price. I got mine about 2 months ago from Classic Firearms for $399. Mlok rail is standard on all of them...
