He wants less money for cops

I think our cops need

1) To lose their Union
2) Be held to physical fitness standards
3) Mandatory recurring training while an active officer (CQC, Firearms, Public interactions)
4) Better pay

I have had several conversations lately with people that think that LEO's are 'highly trained' and therefore should be the only ones with AR15 rifles.

Police do have recurring training and, at minimum per state requirements, annual firearm qualification. Often the department has quals more than once a year (here it's state firearm standard once a year and faster more intensive dept firearm standard quarterly)

But, as with most places, there is 0 physical requirement once you start the job. There's an incentive of PTO if you pass standards, but 0 requirement to participate in physical exercise/conditioning/training and 0 requirement to meet any kind of standard.

That is what I don't understand, literally 0 physical requirement once you start the job, and it's like that about everywhere. But, to #1...unions/similar wouldn't have it. Right...

I follow that guy on fb, but I feel like it’s very easy for him to say what to do and what not to do based off video rather than heat of the moment. I bet anything if this guy were in a situation, we can replay and point out wrongs and rights and then what needs to be focused on and recommended/reminded to viewers

Edit: that wasn’t all that was terrible, just some. The fact he entered the home or whatever like that and got too close too..

Zero'd my Trijicon MRO to 25 yards yesterday. It was making me shoot bottom left a lot and I think I adjusted it as best as I could. Maybe next time I go I will do minor elevation/windness tweaks but I think some of it is working on my own accuracy.


I took my lady friend to the range on Saturday. I figured being from the south she'd be used to guns lol, but she wasn't used to indoor ranges with gunfire going off at different rates and so pronounced in such a tight space. She shot my rifle a little bit bit tho.
