Is this just for home, range, car carry or might it get concealed carried? Or might it get paired with a second smaller handgun for possibly concealed carry? If so, this opens it up even farther since you won't want a full size if you only get one.

Bigger, easier to shoot. Longer barrel, longer sight radius, larger grip, heavier, holds 2 additional rounds. If you won't carry, there's probably not much reason to get a "compact" vs a full size.

After the happening, you can slap a 17 mag into a 19, but not the other way around.

Aw ****. Stealth gear released their AIWB cuts for the P365. I'm tempted to try one out, they're 68 bucks. Anyone ever run these? how are they for strictly AIWB use?

I think I have only pulled my phone out at the indoor range maybe twice. Don't want to take pictures all the time but when I shoot well it's hard not to!

I'm going full anaylsis paraylsis. I either go Vedder lighttuck + claw + IWB mag pouch or Try this SG 'aiwb' out. it doesnt necesarily have to be carried AIWB, though right? I'm new to SG. whats wong with using a hybrid for aiwb

In case you ever holster the gun while wearing the holster, you want something that is guaranteed to retain its size and shape for an easy click-in, the hybrid holsters biggest negative is holstering while wearing the holster. Another downfall of hybrids is lack of full retention when not wearing it, as they need the belt tension for that, so if you do as a lot of guys for AIWB and put the gun in the holster then put the holster on, that gun in the holster you aren't wearing is more secure if it's all kydex.

For that budget you have a bunch of choices, but the main thing is to not drop all your budget on the gun and spend the extra on ammo and training classes.

I recommend 9mm for that reason. A few bucks a box makes a lot of difference when you go out to the range for a few hours.

Yes

$1k will go really fast.

The gun is likely to be $500-$600 for what we are suggesting (and what many others would suggest), if you get upgraded sights or night sights (included or aftermarket) it will be more, maybe another magazine, AMMO is about $200-$220 per 1,000 shipped for FMJ range ammo, some defensive/JHP ammo, and if you don't have them yet some really simple cleaning supplies ad ear and ear protection...

Meatie. I agree with Farley 100%. I bought my first hybrid from them. It was an AIWB+.. nope no thanks. Got credited back 80 bucks when I spent 107. I’m satisfied even though I feel like they fuked up the holster

Went against the grain and ordered a SG AIWB with two clips in OD GREAN. thought why not? It'd be my first and if i dont like it im not out much, still have 3 other pistols in my carry rotation
