IL house is voting today on a bill to ban mags over 10 rounds in capacity, with no grandfather clause, and disposing of previous mags (10+ round) has a deadline of 90 days after passing

That sure will stop the criminals from possessing and using 30 round mags!

You are correct sir. Trying to master tighter grouping at slower speeds first though. I’ll probably discover some land or something soon to shoot outdoors on

I just read a post about how several HK pistols came down in price a year or two ago and how much less they paid for the second VP9 so I looked back and...yup...in 2015 my VP9 cost $600 and magazines were literally pushing $50 each.

I got my VP9 for $450. But only 2 mags and no night sites.

I was sad I missed that deal. Wasn't it a threaded barrel too?

520 with Ameriglo night sights. + 15-20 ffl fee. + 3 years GSSF membership so 2 more glawks at discounted pricing for the next two years = 620.

Next year and the year after, I could get a glock with Ameriglo night sights for 520ish shipped. Good deal no?

The one I got wasn't threaded. I don't have any silencers so I don't need it.

"The HK VP9M (Micro). amazing ergonomics, duty grade quality, amazing light SA trigger pull. As small as industry peers at an inch wide. Euro style paddle mag release that is vastly superior to the button mag release because we say so.

"HK also sets the industry standard for allowing stellar magazine capacity, (Yes, even for dumb ass civilians)
which is why HK's team of elite German engineers created 5 round magazines for the VP9M (MICRO).Bring Less, everyday. For 365 days of the year.".... and remember, less is more...

MFC any objections on getting a Benelli M4 for a first shotgun?

My brother wants one. Either that or a mossberg 590 Tactical semi auto

I don’t even have a shotgun yet but I told him there’s different gauges and had to look up the difference.

You want a 12 gauge.

Benelli is sexy

Mossberg is economical

Both will go bang everytime you press the trigger.

Not normally a Glock fan, but my buddy just offered me his 27 gen 4 for 325(and the $50 state transfer fee). Looked it over and it's in excellent shape. Think he just needs the $. Good deal?

After reading that Vegas gun range dude's threads on arfcom the Benelli M4 seems to stand far, far above any other shotgun (not counting over/unders for $439085 because they are engraved in gold with deer and ducks and diks and stuff)

I have a 590 that does duty as the GF's bedside gun. The thing would light strike like crazy out of the box - removing the firing pin spring fixed the problem. They have a decent manual of arms and capacity but QC is spotty (some of the shotguns went out with terrible QC) and the lawyer spring is incredibly stupid.

I got the same impression. He was pretty clear about that, and pretty clear on how the pump shotguns simply didn't last.
