If something burns slightly, throw BBQ sauce on it and call it "smoked". If something that's supposed to be smooth comes out chunky, call it "homestyle". In hindsight, maybe he wasn't the best chef, but pretty good tips.

And more deeper life things...

A very wise man once told me, "Everybody is looking for the right person, yet few are trying to be the right person."

That same man told me that at least in terms of love and romance, the only person you know you're definitely spending the rest of your life with is you. Everyone else is simply not guaranteed, no matter how much you believe in and cling to "true love" and all that it entails. People die. People leave. People change their minds. When all is said and done, you end up with yourself. So you better really like who that is. In fact, you better love who that is....And then he died, so that sucked. But he was right.

You see the object where it shouldn't be and it will trigger your memory. Works like a charm.
Maybe but when one gets older one sees crumpled paper and wonders why its there and how it got there....Picks up paper and leaves house....driving along and totally bugged about the paper....remembers hours later the reason for the crumpled paper.

Old man stuff.

The duller your knife is the more you'll tear up cutting onions. Always keep your knives sharp. Get a 1000 grit stone and hit 10-15 passes on each side once a month and you'll be set. Takes less than 5 minutes. Or use a strop with green compound.

Not one personally but almost all the married guys have told me stories about this one... If you throw your cooking waste in the trash instead of down the garbage disposal you won't destroy your plumbing.
hard to hate on a fellow wings fan but....

i need to cut... badly.

not terribly related to the thread, but this is very good advice. I listened to a series about relationships by a man named Louie Gigglio called Relatable, the first two sermons were about this exact topic and it changed my whole stance on dating forever. So many people in my generation want the best woman that society has to offer, not realizing that the implication is they need to be the best man society has to offer to deserve that.

He didn't know that if you put a little oil on the end of a Q-tip and clean the inside of your belly button once a month - you'll be really, really clean and not a dirty savage.

I didn't know that (with older cars) you can plug in a USB in the charger thingie.

I considered that, but figured life hacks can also be ideas and concepts you may have never really thought of before. That series sounds fabulous, and I completely agree. On a similar note, we always want and pray for the other person to change, while rarely looking at ourselves and our own shortcomings.

I bet you'dloveTommy Nelson's Love Song: A Study in the Song of Solomon. This is the second post in two days about Song of Solomon, I think I'm Biblically Horny.

If you ever tried "New Mood" and thought it had noticeable effects, you can seek out every single ingredient yourself on Amazon. So you'll spend more getting each separately, but you'll also have several extra months of servings. (Basically, instead of spending $30 for 15 days, you can spend $50 and have several months of servings.)

Of course, an even better life hack then that would be a good diet, exercise regiment, and sleep schedule.

Take them out of the drier immediately and fold for less wrinkles.

3) Boiled eggs: Wait until the water is boiling first before placing the eggs in the pot yields easy remove shell.

4) Recycle glass container. Great for leftovers.

5) Recycle zip lock type bags. Great for keeping smelly garbage in check. I use my protein containers as well. Zero smell that would attract pests.

Hey life pro tip: Eat cereal with a deep spoon not a shallow one. This allows for a proper ratio of milk to cereal so you don't end up with that extra unused milk in the bottom of the bowl.

Just get a fukkin plastic kettle/jug that plugs into the wall to boil water then put the boiling water over the instant noodles in the bowl and leave it covered with a chopping board or another plate
