Fortunately, my hard work on this new project hasn't gone unnoticed. The higher ups felt like I was working outside my position and bumped me up. It comes with a 5% raise. Goes into affect on the 4th.

son. the youngest is 41. the skinniest is still heavier than me. multiple divorces. the one i work with the most gets mad at me for sitting down too loud, and i lol @ her every time. My boss, who is a sweetheart, bless her, is older than my grandma

How many people are you expecting? Full course meals, no, but my suggestion would be to find a place that sells Queen or King sized pizzas and grab a couple of those. Otherwise you're gonna have some sick people on your hands.

LAWL. No, I don't think that's it. I think it's because I stay away from the drama and see the bigger picture. All these other managers/supervisors get so wrapped up in the nitty gritty things that are lower priority than other things.
