Its fun to lol at all the people constantly taking vacations on their 35k-50k/yr income. Most of the people I know that are "into" social media have extremely unrealistic expectations of lifestyle versus their actual income and are tens of thousands of dollars in debt by the time they're in their mid 20s. Social media is a just a pressure cooker of peer pressure for materialism and superficiality. It is DESIGNED to do this.

These kids coming up think that they can just get student loans for everything without realizing that paying 1k a month for the next 20 to 30 years is more than most houses. They have yet to realize that the only people living the American dream are the people selling it.

It's interesting that consumerism is such a huge facet of our social being now.

It's way easier just to go to a house party, coffee shop, sometimes workplace, etc where you're only being compared with who's there. These girls have no fookin attention spans and will draw conclusions based what's in front of them 75% of the time.

i had one but deleted it because i noticed i was taking pics for the likes and couldnt deal with the superficial sloots. after a few years i made a new one. i fell in love with mountain biking so IG allowed me to connect with other riders. i post pics of strictly mtb related stuff. its also cool to see pics of places where other riders ride.

i still am not a big fan because i feel myself posting pics or stories just to show im a special snow flake. it is what is it. i deleted my ******** and have no regrets
be the turtle in the race.

It's the only social media I use really anymore. It's dumb AF because it created so many carbon copy instagrammers that just copy each other. I mainly use it to search locations to see what it is actually like at whatever place I am curious about.

My ******** is basically useless now. I dont go on at all anymore. I keep it so my family member can keep in contact with me if they need to. ******** is the dumbest chit on the planet now. Everything is political or dumb unfunny videos shared over and over by the trashiest people on there.

I mean EVERYTHING is political now. You can't even watch a video with kittens or puppies without every other comments about politics.

Sometimes Instagram provides motivation to work harder. That being said, it can create unrealistic expectations, which (in the fitness world), is why so many people care about someone being natty or not.

Wish my friends didn't use FB messenger as their main form of communication or I'd be social media free. Never had an instagram. Had snapchat for 4 days before seeing how dumb it was. Only time I log into ******** is for Simpsons memes and to see when people's birthdays are lol.
