I dont have lots of free time, but id rather just play video games than go through the same repetitive, monotonous nonsense at work or at school that I usually do. At least it lets me experience some kind of emotions, rather than just feeling like a zombie

if you live a balanced life (exercise regularly, socialize regularly, feel stimulated, etc.) i dont see why life isnt enjoyable. find some purpose in life, appreciate what you have, and dont be such a materialistic *******

It'll always be up and down brah. You just gotta keep some hobbies like Vidya or lifting to carry you through the slumps.

Early-mid 20's were amazing then at 27 I quit drinking due to alcoholism and was incredibly numb for 2 years... Around 29 was so bored I knowingly got involved with an insane woman and spent 2 years on a roller coaster of euphoria and misery because it was more engaging than living single and sober. After I broke up with her I started abusing hard drugs for the last 4 months and now I've quit those... Gym 6x/week and junk food are both saving my ass from depression rn.

Although it takes money for some hobbies . I’m busy as fark because I’m a moron and bought a really dated house.
When I’m not doing renovations, I’m hiking and taking landscape pics. I also have a lot of woodworking tools to keep me busy . Next addition will be a CNC router table.
Bought a welder and am getting better , as I am continually upgrading my home gym . Need to build new storage wall racks as there made out of wood now , and want metal instead .
I added full scale statues to my list of hobbies ,and am in the process of building a Terminator to its screen correct scene .
If I wasn’t a Manlet I’d take up skydiving and get a wingsuit . The list just goes on.

Oh and I’m learning how to play piano someday

Are short people not allowed to skydive?

Also, if you want to practice playing piano easy way to start is just getting a piece of software like FL studio and a cheap MIDI keyboard, connect it to your computer and you can play any kind of sounds you want.

I had a rough couple weekends lately OP . hang in there.


Going on adventures that give u a Natural high ( Skiing , Hiking , great work outs ) etc. are some of the absolute best moments.




Alcohol maybe 2 or 3 times a month, going overboard on a regular basis ( maybe on Vacation / cruise / bender with family or friends ) makes me feel like junk
Just trying hard to not be a fat sack-o-chit.

I spend the first 5 minutes of every poop reading sheet music via a game. I'm trying to learn too.
