I feel like girls who complain about cat-calling and men hitting on them too much...

are just indirectly bragging that they get alot of male attention. They always cite some creepy guy sliding in her DMs on instagram, or some guy saying hello to them at a Starbucks, or some sub8, nonChad saying "Hey Emily how are you?" after matching on tinder as proof that rape culture is real. It's the irl version of a subtle brag thread.

I live in New York and get comments like those you mentioned and the one I mentioned on a pretty much daily basis. It all seems to fall under that umbrella.

I don't appreciate any of it. Usually when you don't respond, it's followed up with "you ugly bitch". Is it really to much to ask to be allowed to walk down the street and be left tf alone? I'm not calling the ACLU but I certainly don't like it.

What kills me though is some of the youtuber sloots who make videos complaining about it and they aren't even reasonably attractive.
