You're talking about the sort of people who endeavour to kill infidels regardless of what they do. It's a myth that they react towards stuff we do. They even say themselves that it doesn't make a difference lol. Srs, it helps to actually read/listen to what people say when they're justifying killing us.

Further, look at the types of people who go to join groups such as ISIS and the "moderates" who try to rationalise terrorist attacks. You could sneeze and they'd call it evidence of rampant Islamiphobia because they have a constant victim mentality. Shaping policy based on not upsetting the sorts of people who might join terrorist organisations is the most pointless endeavour known to man lol.

You throw in your *******ry into every post outside of this thread don't care if you like pounding vagina or swallowing dicks. ITT though you sound like an unaware moron throwing out emotional knee jerk reaction posts. Again avoiding my question to you on page 5, ARE YOU NOT WORRIED OF ALL THE SYRIAN REFUGEES IN YOUR COUNTRY SETTING OFF CHEMICAL WEAPONS LIKE ASSAD HAS BEEN TESTING IN SYRIA FOR USE IN OTHER COUNTRIES? That is why USA, UK and France is air striking, yes just air striking the chemical weapon's storage areas and manufacturing plants and for crimes against humanity.

1. It doesn't make any sense for a reasonable person to think that those who died from the alleged chemical weapons are worse deaths than all of the people who have died from conventional weapons. Why get involved now instead of much earlier if our hearts truly are bleeding for all of those "beautiful babies?"

2. There isn't any evidence that the Assad fellow was the one using chemical weapons. He's fighting against ISIS and wacky Islamists. Does it not seem possible, even likely, that they used the chemical weapons themselves to trigger retaliation against Assad in an effort to turn the tide of the war? Why are we trusting the Islamists, taking their word for it that chemical weapons were used?
Source on "hundreds of thousands who were killed" as a response from us? Your own arse doesn't count as a source by the way. Additionally, you will have to prove that hundreds of thousands more people were killed than those saved from massacres as a direct result of the strikes such as Yazidis and Kurds for your point to stand.

As for your other point, I didn't say that Assad definitely used the chemical weapons. I was talking about those who automatically assume - based on nothing - that it's not the case. I don't know. You don't know. Don't pretend you do and that you're privy to all the intelligence reports. I'm sure as time goes we will find out the truth about that.

It didn't make tactical sense for him to barrel bomb his own cities in the first place but here we are. It also didn't make tactical sense for him to release scores of terrorists from jail so he can massacre random protesters against his dealing of the drought and the economic fall out and justify it based on some of them being terrorists, the events that started the civil war in the first place. But here we are.

People have short memories.

Look, I'm not suggesting that siding with a bunch of Islamist groups is any better as they're the biggest *******s to walk the earth. But strong 'he didn't do nothin' defence of fukkin' Assad of all people from some of you.

Also, no one I know is totally happy with their taxes going towards this bullchit either, especially when it’s based on “evidence” that has not been proven

Has the figures been released yet with how much the strikes cost last night?
So they have to run the evidence by people like you - who would object to the proposed action regardless of anything Assad did or didn't do - before they can act?

And since when have you lot ever gave a chit about how much anything costs? Suddenly you do. Don't try to pretend you object to it based - even in part - on that basis. Nobody is buying it. You object to it based on pacifism. Which on the face of it seems virtuous but as I mentioned earlier, it really isn't.

The stupidest attack we've done since vietnam.

No idea what was the point of shooting 100+ missiles at an abandoned piece of land. What we did didnt effect the Russians,Iranians,Hezbula and the other shiites fighting factions in syria. The alawits aka assad and their wing are still strong as before if not stronger

A proper attack shouldve been done as a surprise one without declaring the timing and giving everyone the time to hide/run away

I am a trump supporter 110% but when it comes to our foregin police dude suck balls , no idea if it was his fault or matis's fault, but with this last strike , he fukced up

the only [presidnet who had the balls to wage a full grown war was bush , he did it and sacked saddam hussien from his chair

This attack wasnt supposed to be an attack on the people just an attack on infrastructure. Bombing the **** out of the buildings (especially the one right in the city) would have resulted in a lot of innocent people being killed. Let them know what is about to happen so when the alarms go off people can get way from certain areas. Why tack onto the death toll from the chemical attack by killing a couple hundred more?

“Mr Putin accused the allies of "cynical disdain" in acting without waiting for the results of a chemical watchdog investigation into the Douma attack. The Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) inspectors are expected to arrive in the area this weekend.
guess we had to hurry up with the attack before any real information about the chemical attacks came out; otherwise we might not have had an excuse to bomb assad.

Yeah but I'm just some guy on a forum who is saying he's fed up with the chaos and wants peace, and he's saying he wants me to die in a terror attack.

He's just some guy on a forum and it wouldn't once enter my mind that I want him to be murdered.

No point in trying to cooperate tho, if he thinks i'm that worthless then there's nothing I could say that would change his mind, will probably just exacerbate his hatred.

1. The hundreds of thousands number is an estimate for how many people have died in the Syrian Civil War. I have no idea how many people have actually died as the numbers from different sources differ dramatically but I think hundreds of thousands is a reasonable statement.

Those people, I assume, died from mostly conventional weapons and not chemical weapons. I haven't seen a number for how many people died from chemical weapons in Syria but the numbers given for the recent "attack" was very small. 40 is the number that I heard early on.

2. I'm far less concerned with the Yezidis and Kurds than I am with the Islamists who also happen to be fighting against Assad. That is being completely ignored in your posts.

There's no doubt that the Islamists gain strength when we hurt Assad. I also wouldn't put it past the Islamists to use or stage the supposed use of chemical weapons in an effort to get foreigners to inadvertently aid their cause. This is another issue that you've failed to address.

I didn't pretend to know who used the chemical weapons. I don't care who used chemical weapons. If someone did or someone didn't, I could not care less. I don't want to be involved. I don't want my tax dollars going to help Syrian partisans, especially Syrian partisans who fought on the side of ISIS and other Islamist groups. No thanks. They aren't our ally. We gain nothing from helping any side over there.

The logic in your post is so off it is amusing. While I do agree politicians sending people to die is kinda fukd, what is the other option? Having the POTUS go to war as well? Then gets killed and structure falls apart. And having balls to stand up against others is still having balls. It does not mean going to war is the only way to have a pair.

All you slack jawed *******s like to point out problems with ZERO solutions. Pretty much being a whiny biotch (like most of the left.)

You missed the point and context of what I said. People only realize the dangers of certain things once something bad happens versus taking preventative measures from the get go stopping it from ever happening.

thats the thing, they didnt take down any facilities, the missiles were shot at a couple alleged chemical factories and the so called special forces branch in homs. this make no sense.

and the funny thing , right after this attack a chemical investigative commity was heading today to syria to check on the validity of the chemical attacks. i mean "bomb now , ask questions later? "

what infrastructure ? syria infrastructure is basically non existent . bombing the buildings is pointless. no one thinks its a valid idea to do so .

the problem is ,they are still letting the SAA,IRG ,hizbulla and other afghani and iraqi shiite militants to push over towards aleppo, ghouta "which has already been taken" and southern syria next to the israely/jordanian border. imo the only "good bombardment was the one that happened a month ago when russian advisors/mercenaries with syrian backed militias were making their way east of the country towards iraq and we literally obliterated them . We need more precision strikes like these ones.

The thing is , during the 7 years of this syrian war around 200k people died and it wasnt from any chemical weapons , its was on the hand of the syrian dictator puppet . This shouldnt be allowed , but again the head of the snake controlling the syrian war goes as follows

Root of the problem : Russia/China " Russia being the main master mind

trunk of the problem : Iran

branch of the problem : Hizbula and other shiite militants

leaves : the syrian so called army "which is basically none existant"

I know fine well the dangers of radical islam. I also know that we would have nowhere near the extent of terror attacks from Muslims if the West didn't commit themselves to utterly destabilise the Middle East even more that it already was.

Yes, these people are twisted and violent, but we had a huge part to play in this. This is all I'm trying to say, I wish we never took part in ANY of it, but our economies would be struggling if we didn't partake in war. So there's no winning possibility. Everything is too fukked up.

England and India are responsible for splitting up the M.E. into colonies (modern day countries we see today) then pulling out w/out support yet before that M.E. was always warring with their internal factions or Christians.

We cannot win that's a no brainer and I have been over here for years. The thing we can do is mitigate attacks on our country's soils by eradicating certain capabilities that they're trying to perfect. Don't say you wish we never took part because if you didn't you'd have been getting slammed with attacks. If you look back to the 70-90s the M.E. terror groups where hitting countries left and right then near the end of the 90s we started mitigating that **** by bringing the fight to their own land. No hate bruv everyone has an opinion and they're like a-holes they stink to others.
