It's not worth my effort to get below 12-13%, so "shredded" isn't my goal. But I can hover between 12-15% all the time.

I care about being athletic but not sub 10% body fat. It'd be nice but for some of my applications it isn't feasible.
Still eating right, maintaining good health, etc should be a goal in your 30s. It gets harder in your 30s because you realize you're not immortal so taking MORE care of yourself is key.

I'm 34 and by far the most ripped I've ever been.
Main Tips I can give you are:
Never drink your calories (unless its a night out, then consider it a cheat day)
Have 1-2 cheat days a week (so you don't feel compelled to eat like **** everyday)
Treat the gym as its a job. Go! No excuses! you wouldn't just skip work because you didn't feel like going...
Count calories, every day, if you can't count it, don't eat it (unless its a cheat day)

If serious about acquiring The Shredz then I would cut out the night outs of drinking.
Discipline it does take.
Congratulations!!! Made it you have.

I'm 34 and by far the most ripped I've ever been. I follow IIFYM and eat about 2100 calories a day, with around 180G of protein (about 100G's by lunch). Only supplements I take are Protein, Creatine, and Beta Alanine.

I think most men notice their severe drop off mid 40's, when test production really starts to plummet.
I'm 31..only difference i notice from 20's is a very slight decrease in energy, if anything at all
Bottom line, if you're fat and out of shape in your 30's, it's because you're inactive and/or your diet sucks. There isn't any excuse.
