These situations always end up in a killing, no one dies till officers show up, its really stupid if you ask me. If the guy is a threat then you leave him trapped and find a way to get him out and lock him up, but killing seems to be the norm. What amazes me is the way people are unfazed by someones death, it says a lot about a society when someones death doesn't horrify you.

Such a grey area. Most ppl dont understand these cops risks their lives during situations like these. Most ppl dont know what its like to be in situations were a fraction of a second is all it takes to get injured, killed ect

Lol why do you feel sorry for this degenerate? How hard is it to raise both hands? If respect for the police is taken for granted then these people would be more inclined to do crime. Respect for authority is necessary for any community to be safe

Yeah, kinda hard to defend this one. He broke into someone's house, the cops yell explicit commands, hes fidgety and not following orders and making erratic movements. Hell I watched it twice and it looked like he was about to pull a weapon.

I know it sucks to see people die but, "play stupid games".....

When you are a professional you are expected to be professional and act accordingly, no where in life do we accept such results where the person who keeps peace keeps killing folks. If a patient in a psych ward acts out and grabs a weapon you will not expect the staff to beat him to death or choke him out, because they are to care for him regardless. That goes for most places in life, the person doing the job keeps composure, an emt or firefighter panicking while saving your family members life will cause you to question them. I dont like the idea that in most shootings everyone is alive until officers show up. The family was alive and so was the guy until the officers showed up, it shouldn't be like that at all.

Killing people doesn't bring respect, it brings fear. There is a difference between a thief or shoplifter and a robber with a weapon. Again, I don't like the idea of police killing people, because they put themselves in the situation, they could have stayed at the door and yelled from there then called in someone to get him out since he was trapped anyway. Wanting someone dead because they are a degenerate says a lot about a society.

Look at Iraq, most of society hit a grinding halt and for over 10 years children haven't seen a school, what kind of expectations do you have for their children or their children's children? People in poverty will do poverty things, before the Italians and Irish where given firehouse, police, and construction they where the violent criminals with all the gangs back in the day. People die every single day. A lot of them are unwilling participants in how/when/why they die. Those are the ones you feel sorry for, not some idiot breaking into someone's house. I'm sure you totally care though and you're not virtue signaling on the internet.

Killing wouldn't have been the norm in this situation if the guy put his hands up and followed commands. That's what he needed to do considering he was in someone's house that wasn't his own. If the dude was randomly walking down the street and the police did this, it would be their fault. This guy was in someone's garage breaking in. Simple way to not die in this situation and he didn't choose that route.
