Indeed that is a very pretty cat! Yeah more info on him/her needed!

My dogs like that toy alot, Legz, but they're a bit heavy. Just Blackjack carries it around and runs with it in the house, then often drops it, and I always fear my hard tile floor will crack because of it. lol

And oh yeah it's precious moments when you see your dog dreaming and making those noises in their sleep!

Today is my boo's 7th birthday!!!!!!! He's going to get super spoiled today. I got him some special goodies from Petco and a new toy. Have to wait for my son to wake his lazy butt up before I give him those.

As a puppy. His mama (RIP) was rescued while pregnant so he was born with the rescue and I got this pic from the couple that fostered the puppies

My handsome boy not long after I started fostering him. He didn't start turning white and his nose pink until he was turning 2.

This morning waiting for his birthday eggs

Oh that's great they like it. Not so great it's so heavy! lol You should look into getting a Kong Wobbler. My doggo loves it and it's so funny watching him smack it around to get his dinner kibble out of it.

My Lily turns 7 in August, so I got feels there too. Her once pure black face now full of whites. I swear they are gone too fast, but definitely leave pawprints while they're here.

I have to dig into my past here a bit (Sorry Roxy , but a more positive part of my past so it's cool... I hope lol. J/k ). But before I learned to take proper pics, I had a few cats. I just got these from my old physical photo album. Many years ago, I was early 20's then when I had these cats. . Taken with a then cheap digital camera. As they're hanging out on my back porch the way I had it set up back then.

Adorable! Bet he is having a good day! The dog food you feed iirc has gotten positive feedback from dog owners, and of course, the dogs who love it. Fromm has been working well for mine, Lily likes the Lamb and Lentil, Blackjack will eat any of them but likes Pork and Applesauce a lot.

As for my cats...I do miss those guys sometimes. I just know I couldn't get one now or anytime soon. I've stressed this before, I'd love another 1 but my dogs...my birds. It's just not a good ideaStill a cat lover in general though. I love all animals though!!!

Hope your boy is having the best birthday of all time!

Thanks sweetie! He is having a great day. He's snoozing on the couch right now. He'll get his last treat after I get back from the gym.

Yeah, I can't do the cat thing because of my pupper. I just don't have the time or energy to give to another critter.

He is super happy with his treats and new toy. I gave him the ice cream cone treat first and he didn't know what to do with it. I broke it in half then he ate it. After that he knew what was up and when I got the heart one to give him he was jumping for it. lol

Hey I'm just trying to be on my best behavior as of late.

Also they are enjoying their new toys too, as you were asking about them. Pic of them with them:

Just noticed the dog's bday is a day before Legz turned 49. One of them is looking quite old. The other lookin' good!!!

My 8 month old GS pupper has finally found his balls, and will literally lunge/bark up a storm at other dogs while he's on the leash.. If he is off the leash he will go up to the other doggos and bark once or twice, then proceed to play.. I've always socialized him, dog parks, friendly walks with other dogs, but this is now getting extreme.. He is only getting stronger, and holding him back is a bicep/back workout in itself.. Any advice fellow pupper enthusiasts?

Well you could just train him, neutering isn't a 100% solution at all. There are tons of dogs, neutered who do the same thing just out of habit.

Why though? I understand that working dogs like police dogs aren't neutered, but a dog that is just a pet should always be neutered. There are enough unwanted dogs dying in shelters every day. There are many benefits to neutering your dog. Also like sweetneybrian said, training will help as well.

Mirin brindle coat, mang.

Legz, maybe you can get another pet that's not a dog then. I'd send you one of the snakes:

If your dog won't be used to breed, and is just for a pet. Neutering is the viable option.

I know right? They don't like you either, or me, or anyone. They don't have feels about humans, even their owners one way or another, if they know you're a non-threat to them then they can tolerate you handling them, but they lack so much emotion.

I was hoping we'd hit the final Slayer concert featuring Lamb of God, Anthrax, Testament, Behemoth. I haven't listened to Anthrax in years but I understand they reunited with Joe Belladonna. But what are you going to to see this year? <- meant to ask that in your birthday thread but some may have said, "This ain't no pick up thread!"

He's developed into a very friendly dog. He started off a little timid with other dogs, but having him go to his day camp a few times a week to play with all of the other pups has done a lot of positives for him.
He started off a bit disinterested in people but that changed quickly. He was found out roaming the streets and brought to the rescue at what they're guessing was the 8 week mark. I went to meet him at 10 weeks and I was ready to leave without him. He hadn't shown any interest in me but at the last minute he climbed up on my lap and licked my chin. He loves kids and will sit and watch kids in the neighborhood play for as long as he can.
He's very well behaved inside, but could use a little work when he's out in the backyard. He does love to dig, but it's getting better. He's got a strong interest in birds, rabbits, and squirrels. They drive him crazy in the backyard.
He's also pretty smart. He learned to hit the bell on the door to go outside in about a day and a half. I think he's a pretty solid pup

Edit: forgot to mention he has some funny moments when he wants to sleep. I've walked into the room and woke him up...normally he stares, puts his head back down and lets out a big disapproving sigh.

Here's Scooter, my 10 months old Kitten. I named him after a miscer here name Scooterbrah, big fuccin mistakes. Cat is bipolar.

He is a good cat, he can be nice and other times he can be a total jerk, just like Scooterbrah.

I'm getting ready to get tix for me and my son to Breaking Benjamin/Five Finger Death Punch and Shinedown/Godsmack this summer. Gonna be part of his bday present. I need to find my concert thread.

Awwwww he sounds absolutely adorable! So great that he is good with other dogs and people. Yeah, I'd guess he'd have a high prey drive. It's so weird how my dog can be so reactive to other dogs but squirrels, birds and cats outside he doesn't react to at all.

Very cute kitter! lol at naming him after Scooterbrah. He looks like a Cream Van. I had a cat that had that similar coloring with the red on his head and tail. Someone told me that he was a Cream Van. He was my first cat when I moved out at 19. His name was Pooh Bear, but I called him Bear Bear.

OP is one cool mama! Going to Shinedown Godsmack (possibly swooning over Sully) with her 17 year old son

The dog will miss you greatly when you're gone. Mine always did, concerts and wrestling events. Those greetings when you get back doe!
