yeah true, unfortunately I would have to agree with him, i went military vegan purely for ethical reasons, no matter how hard i tried to supplement myself with b12, b complexes, vitamin d, lithium etc I never had the energy I needed. My perspective on compassion also changed unfortunately, veganism is only a lense of a messed up world. Minerals mine by african child slaves that work 20 hours day only to die by age 12 due to lung poisoning etc etc theres more blood spilled in the earth than water. But it does take a truly large heart to become vegan, of course it will attract hateful people who preach veganism the wrong way, albeit the majority of hate preachers are just in it for tribalism imo.

I don’t like to debate about veganism because it is so polarising, you either resonate with it or you don’t. I respect everyone’s decisions and I see no point in attacking non-vegans because my main objective is peace, and attacking other people just brings more negativity.

I’ve been 95% raw vegan (mostly fruitarian) for 5 years now, sometimes eat cooked foods but very rarely, and it works perfectly for me, at this point it’s just the norm and I can’t imagine changing, it alleviated my heart palpitations and chronic sinusitis before my first month of turning vegan finished. I’m really grateful for it, but I respect other people’s choices. It’s a personal thing for me and I incorporate it in my spiritual philosophy that I practise daily

At the end of the day we’re all just trying to get through this crazy life and all struggle, we’re only here for such a short time and if being vegan is difficult for you and causes you physical ailments or mental stress, then there’s no point in continuing. We need to do what’s right for us. <3

im glad - i used to have a similar perspective when i was vegan about not pushing my beliefs. Hated telling people im vegan because they would start debates that were more like arguments as opposed to learning something new and accepting truth. Glad it worked out for you, im still going to give it a try in the future again and hopefully make it work.

ps i didn't mean to come off as confrontational or even an attack or argument on your your beliefs, it was more of a self loathing rant

i understand bruh and i totally get the frustration about suffering and veganism being the tip of the iceberg. going to be honest, i feel powerless in regards to a lot of human suffering and i'm ashamed to admit that, but for now one of the things i can control is what i consume, and veganism is the right fit for my conscience, i only buy fair trade too (i know there are still things wrong with that) but we're all just trying to do our best.

i'm not saying i'll never stray from veganism even though it seems unlikely just now, as who knows what will happen in the future. i'm glad you're keeping your options tooall love m8 x

agree, it pays no reward to have a guilty conscious. I recently became aware was a vegan even though he never mentioned it. well sorta, he eats majority plant based but doesn't considered himself a vegan, and does consume meat occasionally, but to see is as as a number games i think will be the way society move towards the moral approach.

Also you mentioned you had issues with your sinus, if your still having problems - i highly recommend you look into shamanic breath work or the wim hof method ( the former being the better). Its great for releasing stored trauma in your body - i had a friend who told me it cured his sinus issues.

Best of luck to you man, <3 you no homo

you left out the name bruh ^ became aware who was vegan?

I totally agree about not labelling yourself a vegan but lowering your consumption of meat and dairy gradually. I feel like this is the best path for the general public

OMG bruh yes !! I love Wim Hoff! He's fukkin baddass. Love you even more now for posting him! I really believe in his techniques, they really help my anxiety.

My self esteem is quite low and it prevents me from speaking about these sort of things - I've tried to bring up breathing / spirituality etc but people look at me as if i'm insaneI keep a lot of this private due to fear of confrontation

mb lol dorian yates

nice man, theres one technique im employing too which i got from elliot hulse, essentially all of this falling into bioenergetics and its just going to the local park 5am and screaming and raging as loud as i can, luckily no ones called the police for since it sounds like a rape or murder is going lol

^ it helps a lot, im similar to you in the confrontation sense.

you seem also (don't take this negatively, its only that I think we have similar traits) to be very schizoid. Check out this out and try finding the right bioenergetics for a solution.

I've felt that feeling of "un-wantedness" my whole life. My mum had a difficult pregnancy and traumatic birth with me too.

Obviously realising i was gay from a young age made me feel even more like an alien and that i didn't belong. Every book, tv show, movie and personal relationship that i was exposed to was heterosexual and that definitely added to feeling unwanted, because my love for the same sex was worthless

this paragraph shook me as spirituality is my no.1 coping mechanism, and i've experienced everything it says here:

"As the world is harsh and hostile to the Unwanted Child, they tend to idealise and seek out spiritual refuge in dissociative spiritual practices like meditation, contemplation, solitude, and retreat activities away from life. They report feeling an affinity with spirit and wanting to leave this life and return to spirit which they see is their true heritage. They may have suicidal ideation and wishes to stay out of their body which they see as alien to them, a source of pain and suffering, and which is not safe to them as they often feel threatened by their own feelings, desires, impulses and urges. They may feel part of them is possessed or evil."

damn. don't really know what to say, but thanks for giving me this info bruh. seems i have chit i need to work on.
