You are selling money happiness short, financial freedom, debt free, the ability to buy things as you please in itself is a form of happiness. Something as little as looking at a menu and worrying about the price making you not get something when now the price does not make you think twice. I do imagine it also depends on ones personality, because if you're the type that likes to keep to yourself you don't get all of the benefits of having money such as flashy(jewelry, clothing, partying, traveling for example). A lot of people say that rich people don't act rich or show money and etc, but they don't take into account that a lot of the rich people are introvert af and probably anti social, versus when extrovert people get money they are flashy with it or enjoy it in what would be considered a public way(cars, jewelry, partying, females, etc).
As with friends/haters, although people will make backhanded comments and etc most of the time its out of jealousy or envy but not necessarily out of hating. Many times people look up to you, or secretly aspire to live your life, as long as you're not rubbing it in their face. I've had times where a person will make a comment like we are going somewhere and I say how far it is and they are like " Ohh yeah we can cut a couple minutes off that, you got a Porsche". Like its not necessary, but not exactly ill will.
I could only imagine what it would be like to be CEO 10k a day status, and although with all of the negatives you mentioned, you have so much opportunity to get out of that lifestyle and retire early. 10k a day, actually investing/saving that money, there is no reason you could not be done with that and work at most part time just to occupy your time, after a couple more years.

sorry op but i'm not impressed by your 10k/d, that's some srs small time son, what matters is empowered wealth which starts in the billions, this is the point where you start wielding a lot of power

Happiest I've ever been:
-Out of the military going to college with GI bill and working 10 hours a week on top of classes
-Spend 90% of my day outside (when not in class) mountain biking, hiking, etc
-Lived modestly and had that passive income that was just enough to pay bills, rent, food, supplements, fun
I miss those days. Now I work 6 days a week for poverty pay because paramedics are seen as lower class people even though I've literally brought people back from the dead with medicine/electricity. I stress about money 24/7. My check engine light comes on and I lose sleep over it because that means an extra overtime shift (7 day work week instead of 6) in order to pay for it. Money doesn't buy happiness but it's nice not having to work all day every day.
The key to life is NOT working. NOT having to be somewhere. It's about free time and actual hobbies.

strangers hate you
Lots of people are mad at their own lives and where they are and they view all people with money as the cause of their misfortune. It's not my fault you got married to a land whale and had 8 kids you hate and you contemplate teaching your toaster how to swim in your bathtub every night. For example.... I have a sports car and a normal SUV... Whenever I drive my SUV people are super courteous and always let me in when I signal etc etc... I never get pulled over by cops and I've been in maybe 1 road rage thing in the 3 years I've had it. In my sports car I almost get into road rage daily because people are absolute tools. I literally have cut people off every day to change lanes because people speed up when I start to signal for a lane change. It's like it's their way of "getting back at the man" or something like it's my fault they are unhappy with their life and assume I'm a rich kid who was handed everything or something.

I agree OP, once you get past $400k per year its diminishing returns. That being said happiness starts at $250k per year. Its still middle class but comfortable. This also assumes low debt.
$80k per year is garbage, if you are only making that or less you are contributing low value to society and that is not a life worth living.

I think OP has done alright the past 10 years, maybe ~$300k or so in net assets, maybe $120k per year income, but he is not balling by any means.
Retail brick and mortar supp store in 2018? FCKKEN LOL Good luck with your net loss every year. BRB $150k space build out for maybe $25k per year in net profit.

I took this pic for CHARBACK and testifier because they kept accusing of frauding with the car.. Threw the watch on just to make CHARBACK extra mad before he cries himself to sleep. I normally don't wear watches.

well, spending 200K a year means you're making 400K+ and it's just absurd to expect even 99% the country to come close to those numbers.

For one you could have inherited parents money, no way to prove this of course.
For two, that CLS is a 2014+ model, you can get those used for $45-60k, sure its not cheap but not impressive by any means unless you bought it new or its a 2017/2018. My daily beater is a $70k Jeep and I'm poverty as fck.
The watch, ugly, but to each his own.

It's tough because I'm skinny fat... so in clothes I look good, but naked i'm soft as **** with a belly.
I've been back in the gym with a trainer 3x / week since Feb 2nd at 174.4 lbs at 5'9 (on that manlet cope time).. Currently down to 163.5 lbs. I'm intermittent fasting also 23:1... been on this diet for 2 weeks now.. One glorious meal a day.

I wouldn't even begin to think about starting a family unless $150k+ in income and $100k in the bank in just about every US city. Double that number in NYC, LA, Miami, Vancouver, etc.it's just insanity what's expected materialistically in today's society

Also that car is well over 100k. I'm in Canada and it has every available option save for ceramic brakes because ceramic brakes squeal and are for racing

The car WAS over 100k, but that doesnt mean you bought it at that price. A MSRP $110k car is $65k a few years old and 40k miles (jus sayin, dont really care. Although if you showed me the sticker from brand new at $120k you paid I would be impressed).
Also none of this really matters. My points were that money does buy happiness and the more you make the happier you are as evidenced by my facts posted above. I also believe that six figures ain't chit these days and $250k is the baseline for the start of a decent life, again as evidenced by my charts and breakdown.

Very Solid post mate , i have a similar mindset except i dont have that kind of money.
Small things like taking a stroll , going for a bath , fishing and stuff are godly compared to the greediness and other materialistic stuff.
Cheers man and Good Luck.

go to autotrader.ca and look up CLS63 prices all across the country...
and you're right... none of this matters. The advice is still applicable though.
I was more or less saying money isn't everything, and you aren't guaranteed happiness just because you have money.
I forgot to address your retail store comments also... I know it was stupid but I actually started off manufacturing protein powder before, and it was a knee jerk reaction for people refusing to carry my protein because I didn't have a complete line of products to sell with it. The idea was I would get locations directly beside gyms, and incorporate a smoothie bar into both locations for peoples pre/post workout smoothies. Going to actually post all the recipes on misc at some point. It was really stupid though and I regret opening the stores. I didn't appreciate just how much work was involved, and how dumb it was to begin with since I was well aware retail was a dying business model.
