His own comic series was excellent back in the 70s.

A future evolved version of himself travels back to his time, looks different, is insane, and he can't quite figure out who this person is and it's a very intense story. Great art at the time too.

I don't think that's stupid.

I mean there's serial killers, people who invent weapons, and so on in real life. They are people who are obsessed with killing people. So, I would assume that in a crazy universe like we have here, there would be many very deadly people.

Plus, Death is a real being here.

In India there used to be Thuggies who were religious murderers. They would kill people to honor their god of death, so it's real.

really enjoyed the film although I felt like I was watching dbz at times where powerscaling goes out the window. Captain America should be dead/obliterated after taking a hit like that from thanos straight to the dome. And black widow has no place fighting against the black order.

This movie was just the warm up... Can't wait for the next one. I think Gamora will come back, because well... Marvel.

Her clothes and weapons are vibranium laced and she IS a skilled assassin, so she's not completely worthless.

It had some good moments, and has the #1 highest opening ever, but it's still meh for me.

Pros:
-It's taken 10 years and they've world built an environment as 'Supers' rich as in the comics. brb every panel has some other caped guy in the background doing stuff.
-Some fight sequences were awesome. (Bucky & Rocket, Thor's axe entrance)
-Could've ended the movie happily with Thor's axe strike. Could've ended happily in the last 30 seconds ala any Doctor Who series end with some Deus Ex, oh psych but you forgot about this, everything is fixed now. But they didn't, at least for the next 12 months, these deaths are permanent.

Cons: (nitpicks, I know)
-Forgettable score. Same with watching Ragnarok on a flight (had seen it twice before), Marvel's music has been made to be white noise underneath action.
-A lot of the fights where a good guy just whooshes in felt like a child playing with action figures. "And then Captain America shows up! Aand then Falcon comes shooting down! AAAnd now Black Widow does a somersault!" Especially towards the end against Thanos in Wakanda where everyone had a single file line slow mo one-on-one for a few jabs.
-I think my biggest plot issue is stones could've just been destroyed, but character personalities wouldn't allow it. Loki bein' all captain mischiefpants wanted to keep one, Strange wants to keep his to have special powers, Stark wants to keep Vision so his flying Alexa can update wirelessly.

...but it's made 3 quarters of a billion dollars in 3 days. I might be tired of superhero movies, but generally people are enjoying them.

That's how it is in the comics. She's been a character in the avengers for like 50 years.... Deal with it. She's fought eve tougher people in the comics. She only really fought proxima midnight who isn't really that strong without her staff. Not like she was putting Thanos in an armbar.

Okay? Not going by the comics, cause I’ve never read them. Based on the movies it’s completely irrational that BW is as “badass” as she is. But if logic makes me a misogynist, then so be it.

Why was poocy Vision's "life" worth the life of like 400 Waukandans? If they showed up pitching that plan to me I would have laughed in their face.

Best ending would have been for either Cap or IM to die while fighting off/distracting Thanos while Thor showed up to finish him off with the Axe. Don't need to do the BS "these characters are gone... except we all know they aren't". Maybe kill off 1-2 more mid tier heroes like Vision and Scarlett Johanseon along the way.

Nothing to do with women, if Hawkcuck parried a blow from a super human while on his back I would say the same ****... both of them should have died 100x over by now. I'm more of a DC fan and Wonder Woman was my favorite DC movie - has nothing to do with women, it has to do with living in "reality".

We all know why brah. It's the same reason the writers made Wakandans tribal and made them settle their chit by combat rather than some sort of election process.
