That's what I thought too at first. Goddess of Death but the comic book store owner said it's another type of death(skeleton face and no body). Death does not even know he exists and he is in love with her.

She's the Asgardian goddess of death and ruler of Hel, but she's not the Death. Thanos' oneitis Death is an abstract cosmic-level entity that appears as a female sometimes.

Right. Since they are tying everything together I thought they meant Hella. Thanks for the info. The owner did not tell me that Death sometimes appears as a female.

Question: Who gave Thanos those marks on his face? I read that the speculation is either Wolverine or Black Panther. Did the book say who it was?

Thanos scarsare not in the comics. Well he is a little scarred from experimenting on himself.
I thzink they added the scars to make animating his face easier. Makes him look more real than with huge empty spaces.

Oh yeah, I liked it how Thor speaks Groot. Not sure if that's been discussed. Thor and Guardians were my favorite interactions, while Iron Man had my favorite action scenes.

No, comics he is from a group of Eternals who live on one of Saturn's moons, Titan. I don't think they're as powerful as the Earth-based Titans overall, but Thanos is a mutant and beyond most of them and he enhances himself with science and sorcery over the years.

I think because they finally got a Thor movie right with Ragnorak. Yeah there is a lot of jokes in the movie I don't like, like the intro scene with Surtur just straight up pisses me off, but the movie overall is really good.

They've had Winter Soldier and Civil War now with Cap, Tony has had 3 IM movies, Ultron is his fault, Civil War is half him and he's a mentor to Peter. Thor meanwhile is now all by himself cause no Asgaard, has Stormbreaker and will no doubt be the next allfather.

Thor is also an ageless God who is pretty much immortal. With the contract stuff who knows what they do going forward.

It would make sense for him to keep popping up with the new generation of avengers, until they can figure a way to write him out.

Thor = best action scene just for his 2 shots in Wakanda.

The one shot where he jumps into the group of Outriders and he electrifies his suit and eyes, hnnnnggggggggg.

My new favorite comic book moment is when Thor goes what I call "God of Thunder mode", like he did in Ragnorak when the electricity goes through his body and suit and his eyes glow blue. It's so fuking awesome.

I thought the movie implied enough that Thanos would prefer brutality and violent cultural reprogramming over providing more resources. If they had just made him a conquering warlord or aspiring god, the genocide plot wouldn't have confused people.
