Unpopular opinion: Baltimore ain't that bad if you avoid the ghetto. In fact, it's quite pleasant.

On inspection of the footage, here's what I think happened...
The tail fin had been gradually weakened by the buffeting of non-laminar airflow at high alphas from the delta wing.
(The large scale, and wooden construction increased the Reynolds number for an inadequate material).
The tail failed at the root, while the aircraft was banked, (or rolled) right.
With no yaw stability, the secondary effect of the roll yawed the aircraft to the left, (as the high [left] wing has increased drag).
This yaw again, in turn caused yet another secondary effect of roll, (as the right [low] wing now has a faster airflow & lift).
This combination of movements culminated in the aircraft being placed in a very high alpha against the full speed airflow.
The resulting upward shock loading on the wings caused them to fail instantly, & catastrophically, (partially due to the seemingly small spar, although they would have failed anyway at this speed and angle-of-attack).
With no tail, or wings, and the air-frame now 68 pieces in close formation, the pilots options have reduced, and control is limited.
The only comfort the owner may have is that some radio gear may be salvageable, and the evenings firewood supply is sorted.

In layman's terms, the plane's structure was not built strong enough for the type of speed and maneuvers it was performing. Once one part broke, it caused a chain reaction.

Did you guys see that video of that French dude climbing the building to save that baby?
Thus let me live, unseen, unknown;
Thus unlamented let me die;

If people had three legs, do you think marches would be in 3/4?

Woah.

Then I got to thinking of the physics of having three legs. I'd assume one leg would be noticeably stronger than the other two, a dominant leg, if you will. This would likely give us a 2/4 or 4/4 time signature.

Or maybe it's more of a kangaroo setup with three "legs" - two legs and one tail, yet the tail never actually touches the ground. There's an argument to be made that there's a 3/4 walking pattern (ripple leg movement forwards, staggered between left and right).

It's scientific fact that Irish people had 3 legs until Saint Patrick went bonkers, ran all the snakes off, and went around chopping off legs all willy nilly. You can hear the and ghost of the third leg femoral artery in Irish jigs if you play the Riverdance soundtrack backwards. Perhaps in the 5th century we marched into battle in 3/4 time. Holy fuk, the Irish were waltzing.

I'm totally fine!
