Looks like there is events in Hamburg, York, and Oak PA. I may go to the Hamburg or Oaks show for the hell of it. Maybe grab some frozen feeder rats.

I removed my then veiled chameleon from her enclosure to clean it once, she wouldn't let go of the branches or screen with her claws. I had to pry her hands off it. Then her tail was wrapped around it soooo tight. I tried to pry the tail off it then, I was unsure if chameleons dropped tails or not so that took some caution and patience which by the time I got her loose she clamped her jaw onto my hand and wouldn't let go. It was like a pitbull's lock. It drew blood. I was scared at first...getting bit...then I was just raging and disgusted by the time I got her to let go but placing her back in her cage on a branch in there.
Finally I removed the branch with her on it and moved her, branch and all, into the case I put all my medium to small reptiles in when I clean their cages!

I got crabs in a 5.5 gallon and needed to make it brackish. The lady at the store recommended Aquarium Salt said it's what they use, now I find out we're SUPPOSED to use MARINE salt to make it brackish (1/2 freshwater, 1/2 saltwater). These things are cute though!
I am going to clean out a 20 long and upgrade em' to that.
They are red claw crabs. 4 of them. Cheap little suckers but entertaining.
Unlike fidler crabs they don't need 1/2 land 1/2 water. You can do all water. It's pretty much the owner's call.

Never gonna happen here. I like small to medium sizes only, anything over it too big for me to handle.

I looked VERY closely at a black and white tegu before. But decided against. Also I think the main draw for me was they are one of the very few warm blooded reptiles. I think.

Store also had another monitor, I forget what kind but he was $1500. He is extremely active everytime I'm there, always trying to claw his way out of the enclosure.
In other news our Beardy is doing well. He is doing very good with me handling him. Much less jumpy. He has learned when it's meal time so he starts going crazy when I'm prepping. I got him some Horn worms to try. I'm kinda disappointed because mine did not grow that much and it's been 5 days. I have 3 left I'm letting grow some more before feeding.

You can keep a baby blue tongue in a 40 gallon btw but they grow quite fast and within a year gonna need a 75 gal of other 4 foot x 18"-24" enclosure.
Here's a nother peak at mine: In white carefresh bedding

I removed the table from my dining room and made it a REPTILE ROOM

The window has my leatherback bearded infront of it
The one wall has two 75 gallons (the left 2 bearded dragon sisters and the right a blue tongue skink) and a crested gecko cage in between them
Then there is my grandmother's sewing machine which houses a leopard gecko on top of it
then in the second pic there's the two bearded dragons (one normal, one leather)

!!!!

Beardy has learned when it's feeding time. I keep a small 10 gallon under his tank with all my bugs/calciums/tongs ect in it. Once I get on the floor to take it out he is up pressed against the glass freaking out. Had my daughter feed him some superworms last night with the tongs while he chilled on the floor. He was very cooperative and seems to be enjoying the playtimes.

I don't know if you do this or not, but if not, might I suggest gut loading them all. For superworms: Oats, ground flax or cereals work well. For crickets normally the cubes you buy in the store are sufficient. but can always add potato or apple.
For dubias I wouldn't know. Ugh, pisses me off. FU FLORIDA!!!!!!
My question remains ope n to anyone knowledgeable about discoid roaches too. From a few pages back. We have those in FL.

So my petstore got HORNWORMS in recently. I bought a 12 cup for $15 something... but they absolutely loved them. I never seen them so excited to eat. Especially Princess who is old and always has me bring the food to her on tongs. She jumped down for these. I will upload pics or vids because these worms are humongous but they gush them down.
I got my blue tongue for $290. The most beautiful pet I own, next to my doggos. Ask to hold the next one first, make sure pretty docile and no aggression.
My bluey loves the dog food I feed my dogs too, the wet that is.
