We need better background checks on purchasing guns. We need to enforce the laws we already have. We need harsher penalties on gun owners who become negligent with their guns. We need better security at our schools.

We need the left to realize guns aren't going away. We need the right to realize we need better laws.

buying in the black market requires you to know somebody to get the stuff, and guns would be way harder to get through the mail from the internet than a couple pills. having to find and talk to some random thug that has a gun for sale (at a price probably 2 or 3 times higher than current market price) instead of just going to walmart and buying a rifle would probably reduce the amount of FAs willing to go through that chit instead of just killing themselves
cartels and the mafia will always get guns one way or the other that is a given

I was bullied to the extent it climaxed to having urine thrown over me while I was hiding in the school toilets from them. I then found out where the kid got the train home and tried to kill him by trying to push him off a train station platform into the path of a train. Luckily for the both of us, a group of commuters grabbed me and stopped me. My parents had complained to the school time and time again the teachers did nothing. His mother on hearing what I tried to do to her son, complained to the school and called the police. The police basically talked to me and I never heard anything more. The school again did nothing because it was off school property when I did what I did. She then took her son out of school because I was allowed to carry on there and she was scared I would try something else.

Now I never shot a school up, but when you get bullied it can do really terrible things , if you don't believe me take what mike tyson said about the effects of being bullied, he said it was like contracting a cancer that made you feel disgusting and thinking disgusting things about other people.

To be honest I don't think the problem is really guns, but it's actually far worse to acknowledge the real truth ,that modern society is basically faulty and is birthing very dysfunctional, angry young men especially . Schools have never taken bullying seriously and even the teachers were known to join in, happened in my old school. what has happened is, you can now add in increasingly broken families, psychiatric meds that effect brain chemistry , 24/7 social media which enables some kids to be bullied 24/7 into the toxic brew. Why isn't it usually girls, because boys and girls are wired different they act out more than act in. . and boys in my view have caught the worse end of the deal. Boys need predictablilty a father figure and structure. Liberalism does not suit boys, they feel uncertain of who they are meant to be.

The shooter used a shotgun and a .38 revolver. It's time to realize that the gun used doesn't matter, and that banning a subset of firearm that is extremely rare as a murder weapon (semi-auto rifles) does nothing to make anyone safe.

Hopefully, the IMMENSE media attention given to this shooting coupled with the weapons used will result in actual improvements being made rather than continued, arbitrary discussion about banning commonly owned rifles/magazines.

Agreed, also parents of minors who use their guns for these crimes should be held equally accountable. Would get people to lock their **** up better.
