Is anyone else actively rooting for this one to fail hard?

I would love a backlash against the overt feminism, the pansexualization of Lando and the Soy-friendly casting of effeminate male leads (Glover, 3rdEkenreick), the fembot droid and for revenge against The Last Jedi.

I don't always get what I want, though, so it may succeed gangbusters.

Not in China, though.

Not necessarily hoping it fails because I don't have much against the actors. It's mostly the higher ups who have tainted it.

I've followed some of the youtube drama for the lulz though. World Class Bull****ters/Geeks and Gamers. They've been blocked by high ranking staff at Lucasfilm/Disney on social media.

We're at 36% "Want to See" on Rotten Tomatoes. pretty crazy. Even major movie reviewers have knocked it.

I was thinking about this movie and entertainment in general, and I wasn't sure if a big part of my personal problem was -- I'm an old man, time has passed me by and it's no longer my world, no advertisers covet my age/gender/race and I just need to deal with it and stop being a grumpy old man.

You got Soylo and then there is **** like:

So, yeah, it doesn't appeal to me, and maybe it is because time has moved on past me -- but I look at that motherfukking video of Thundercats Roar, and the like/dislike ratio is beyond 10 to 1 against. Last Jedi? It made money but it *should* have made a lot more. SJW Marvel can not sell comics, sales numbers are 5% of what they were in the 90s. Maybe I want big bodybuilding monstercats smashing the fuk out of roid Mummies, but is that just too much of Toxic Masculinity nowadays?

Not just you. Older bro checking in. I never wanted to be the 'Get Off MY Lawn' guy but I just cant get into much of any of the new movies. I despise the SJW changes in so many things, not because I don't believe that those things are important, but because they are forced upon me in ways that are just not believable.

I have a feeling the movie is going to be similar quality to Rogue One to me. An okay movie but nothing too special.

I’m going to see it because when everyone chits on something this much, it is never actually that bad but just people overreacting.

I’d be more concerned with mixed reviews. All bad just seems like a grudge. It isn’t Sharknado, it has a Star Wars budget and is made by Disney. You start at a baseline of “okay” with those factors.
