And she still won the popular vote in spite of all that and being the worst candidate they've had in forever. I just think there will be too many people that have bought into the media BS for him to win again unless the Dems put up another horrible candidate.
Let's be real...it's probably going to be Cory Booker. Then they can REALLY play into the Trump is a racist, lets fight him and elect the black candidate. Watch him in almost anything he does and he's basically campaigning. He had to confirm the CIA director or some chit and he brings up gay marriage. He is basically setting up every word he says to be a sound bit down the road so he can fall back on it and say "all the way back in ___ I advocated for ___". The DNC will probably do their best to make sure no Bernie Sanders types get to run, so they'll be a more unified voting block this time and they'll hope for the best.

The media thing, while it hasn't gotten worse, it doesn't really have to. They're simply repeating and repeating and repeating to muddy the waters as much as possible and create any doubt they can with Trump. So when Booker gets presented as a superhero who has advocated for years for everyone under the sun, it'll be a vote between an "obvious" bad guy and an "obvious" good guy. Joseph Goebbels said it... "Repeat a lie often enough and people will believe it".

With all that said... who knows what will happen. It's too early to tell, but if the economy keeps going well, if the North Korea thing goes well, and he keeps succeeding with a lot of things, he could definitely be re-elected.
Everything depends upon execution; having just a vision is no solution.

Performance and performance alone dictates the predator in any food chain.

Jesus.... why the hell was the guy with the revolver even putting himself in a position where he was committing murder. If you can leave the situation without harm, you gotta go. Looks like he was just flaunting his leverage over the other dude. What a moron.

He's good with the chorus, but his verses seem off in the handful of his songs I've listened to. Judging by his facial expression he's really having to put effort into getting his voice that deep, almost like it affects the rhythm of the song.

I'm just saying, she's a miserable **** that even a lot of Dems hated or didn't like and yet still got as many votes as she did. I don't think the media bias is more powerful or much different now than it was, but lets not pretend that the common voter is very intelligent, and being told something over and over using different sound bytes and examples for 4 years will probably be cemented in plenty of people's minds. If I remember correctly they had pretty bad turnout in some key areas, so my concern is those people will come out to vote next time around.

Who knows though, maybe support for Trump is actually growing and it's just like the election with the huge majority of supporters just not being outspoken at all about it. If the economy continues to be good and he does actually get peace with North Korea, help fix some of the problems with health care, etc. that could certainly change some minds about him.

The more you do to alter the design of what is supposed to be a pistol brace probably doesn't help your cause in arguing that it's a pistol brace if challenged on it. No need to remove it. Just leave it wrapped around.

Would you be asked . . . ever? Probably not likely. Would removing the strap be an unnecessary thing to open up potential nitpicking by the man? Maybe. Depends on which way the wind is blowing at the BATFE at any given time.

I think modifying a "brace" that is an obvious (and I use this word legitimately) loophole around the SBR law is a great idea. The BATFE, and all other law enforcement officers and agencies, are completely reasonable folks who will give you every benefit of any doubt. There is no possible way this could backfire.

Went ahead and ordered the TLR-1 HL today. My first pistol light. Now I can operate.

They have a low light course at an indoor range (actually I think it's just a section of the Defensive Handgun 2 course), but they strongly encourage a handheld flashlight instead of a weapon light. TF

That is a weird recommendation. I've read description of several low light courses and they universally recommend or requiring havingbothhand held and weapon mounted. Encouraging one but not the other just seems...stupid.

Hand held lights get dropped (during mundane stuff). Their batteries get drained. They get dropped during dynamic stuff. They get forgot at home. They fall out of pockets sitting in the car or the theater seat. And they require two hands to operate pistol + light. Both options have pros and cons, the combination of both seems clearly superior to an either/or

Just got back from the range for the first time in ages. Not so disappointed with my pistol shooting but my rifle pissed me the fuk off. The bent out pin that had my trigger bent which I pushed back into place acted up at the end of the third (my brother shot the third) magazine and when I put in the fourth magazine after slowly shooting about 4 rounds paused, shot another, paused, shot again and this time 5 rounds went off.

Immediately packed up since the last thing I need to deal with is the annoying af RO who is a huge d*ck and clearly had something against me.

Gonna replace the trigger or take to a gunsmith tomorrow just to see what he thinks keeps causing the issue.
