Truck prices have gone full potato...Im not really a truck guy but I like to build out vehicles on the configurator to see what they cost (yes car nerd). I built a Chevy High Country 1500 and it was 67k....

67k for a 1500. Thats mind blowing..It wasnt a 2500 Duramax Diesel with every option, it was a 1500...LOL

Thats getting into a lightly equipped M3 territory...Yes I know its apples to oranges but thats insane for a truck.

....and Jeep has gone full loco too...You can easily equip a Rubicon to the mid 50k range. Who in their right mind is going to take a 50k Jeep off road and beat the crap out of it?

Trick is to buy a vehicle when u don’t really need to. So you aren’t afraid to walk away from it. That’s how I sell/buy houses as well.

96/120 month loans.

Keeping up with the Joneses

Listen, I don't fault anyone for spending their money how they see fit, I love freedom.

I am also free to think they're ****ing stupid. I could pay cash for a new vehicle, I choose to invest in brokerage accounts/retirement accounts and property so I can retire early, and waste away on some exotic beach with tight bodied women while everyone else works to pay for items, they need to keep working to keep.

Different strokes for different folks.

Hey you guys want to go to the bar? Sure but only if they don’t charge a cover. Hold on a second while I load up the secret compartment on my trench coat with my Kirkland beer I got on sale at Costco. Just lmao @ paying bar prices. Any idea what that $20 could be after 30 years in the market

Oh appetizers? No thanks I brought some mixed nuts and carrot sticks from home

Gotta get those investment gains

That 67k 1/2 ton truck though is going to be pretty dam nice. I don't see why it being a truck means it should be cheap. The F150 has heated/cooled massaging seats and all sorts of other features. I feel you on the Jeep though most of those are basic af and have a **** interior. For 40k you get something that looks like its worth 15 inside

I enjoy this money guy who thinks he knows it all throwing out the highest percentage you could possibly get like it is a reality, but we all know this **** works Walmart restocking shelves pumping 20 bucks a month into his 401k. Eat a bag of dicks and cleanup on isle 5 cause I cant put dirty salsa jars into my new truck.

LOL blows my mind how much trucks are these days. Very hard to find a good, new truck under $60k

Meanwhile, I recently paid $50,000 for a 1996 Acura lol
