Good luck in your timed B8 goals. If you actually shoot guns.

Went shooting today. Decided to shoot a PPQ SC and VP9 SK side by side. The PPQ had an extended mag while the VP9 had a flat mag.
As with the full size guns, the PPQ has a bit nicer trigger. Smoother, cleaner, and lighter break. The VP9 is a good trigger but the PPQ is GOAT. I like how the VP9 trigger breaks further forward though.
Both of the grips are nice although slippery. Not enough traction at all. I felt like I was fighting to keep my hand high on the beaver tail with both. I think it’s the way they shape the grips. Compared to Glock which may not be as “comfortable” but it drives your hand high.
Only shot a box of cheap range ammo through each. This was my best group with the VP9. 20 yards standing. Minus the flyer that I pulled, not bad for a 2 finger grip and only a few rounds through it.

This was the best group with the PPQ at 20 yards.

Probably have a preference for the PPQ. So thinking about a full size and PPS M2.
Although I was handling an M&P 2.0 5” and that felt really good. I had a 2.0 4” briefly and stupidly sold it because the grip isn’t good for carrying IWB IMO. The hinged trigger is annoying but workable.
So thinking maybe 5” M&P and shield.
