Solo movie was decent.
- Whoever played Han really didn’t feel like Han. Had to keep telling yourself who he was.
- Landos character really felt like a younger Lando.
- Chewie was definitely the saving grace that made the movie worth watching IMO.
- at the end there’s a cool cameo for about a minute that’s pretty cool
- for anyone wondering, it seems like it takes place around episode 2-3ish

I have to say though that aside from a couple “how they mets”, if that’s the best they could come up with for a Solo back story then it further proves to me just how boring Han Solo is of a character.

There was one scene when a character made reference to Bossk which I doubt no one caught but I thought was cool.

Unless you know a fair amount more than the movies get into, the cameo scene will leave a lot of people confused if you’re not familiar with this particular characters true fate.

But if any of you Star Wars guys have time, the Clone Wars animated series is definitely worth watching. There’s a lotttt of cool background and lore on big characters in it.

It was better than I expected. Glover was great as Lando. The cast was solid. I was ecstatic when the droid died. The kid did a good job, those are big shoes to fill. It’s hard seeing an iconic character being played by another actor. I thought he did ok.

For me it wasn’t that it was just “another actor”. Obviously playing a character 20 years younger than the original was going to require a different actor but this guy doesn’t give you Han Solo vibes at all whereas I feel like Glover really felt like a younger Lando.

And yeah...that droid... I guess they though they were going to give some comedy to a droid like they did in Rogue One with K-2 but they failed.
K2 was legitimately funny and this droid was just...not...
