He's better looking than many of the dudes who are doing well. He's just missing the tan, stubble, tats and the gear use.

But I think it's the personality which is hurting him. I'd love to see how he'd do if he didn't give a fk and dumbed himself down.

Hard to say without actually watching how he acts in the rest of the show but at the end of the vid where he whines it could just be the natural result of being in a house full of women dissing you for being "ugly" and avoiding even talking to you. A day or two may be fine but spending any decent amount of time like that would suk ass and take its toll mentally, and given it's a TV show it's even worse.

No confidence and boring

That's your answer

Next thread

edit: I don't understand why it's so shocking girls don't want to be bored, no matter how financially secured. She's gonna be stuck with you for potentially the next 50+ years, if she's already bored in the first 5 minutes why the **** would she stick around.

Height, bragging about something you have no control over and never worked for is just unbecoming.

He has demonstrated a lot of traits that most sane women would find desirable in a partner (work ethics, reasoning abilities, compassion, intelligence, etc.) but at the end of the day, what he chose to talk about is how he wanted to be perceived by me. And I don’t have any interest in someone who assumes people only care about his money and height. From the sound of things, I doubt this is the case of the majority of men in the medical profession. I have plenty of mates who are, and they don't act like this.

Did you not bother reading what I said. I said after a certain point it becomes much less important. Reread my last sentence I said that height is incredibly important but not after a certain threshhold

False.

People have been "chosen" and conversely made into pariahs based on their looks probably since the dawn of humanity.

Because looks tend to be a good barometer of health.

Hell I don't even think animals select mates based on stature when you consider that the mate they choose is always healthy, to the point where it's almost an "unwritten rule".

Dude is cringe and awkward as fuk, why in the hell he kept touching his hair, his body language screams insecurity and it's super uncomfortable to interact with let along flirting.

Also, he never really take control in social interactions, it felt like a high school kid trying to hit on girls. Unbelievable, maybe that's why he's in a dating reality show.

I’m not saying it is at all, I named that example to show that maybe something is fundamentally wrong with the guy in the video, so much so that being a doctor tall and decent looking still didn’t save him. Most doctors I know aren’t vapid narcissists.

Gold diggers come from all socioeconomic status. Just saying I’m not one of them, usually don’t even ask about specific job titles. I do meet everyone I’ve dated in person though so I always go in with a sense of where they’re at in life. As long as they’re financially independent too, I don’t see a difference between 80k/yr and 200k/yr. Not saying other women share the same view.

sure, he's a decent looking and successful man, but he's lacking a few things

1. confidence
2. a fun personality

seems dull as f**k (not uncommon with the doctors I've worked with)

he'd do a lot better if he lifted and thought better of himself, that would manifest in an aura that's more attractive to women

This is total nonsense. Come on. You're attractive, you supposedly make good money. Even if the guy is 'responsible', would you be down to date Chad who works at McDonalds? He pays his bills, he saves money. But he's knocking down 16k/year. You would be cool with that? You don't care about money right? This guy would be good life partner potential for you? If you're a high value woman (career/money+looks), wouldn't you also want a high value man (career/money+looks), so that your incomes compliment each other thereby increasing the quality of homes you can buy, the amount/extent of the vacations you can take, the education you can afford for your children (basically increasing your overall quality of life)? Or you would be totally fine with subsidizing a poor man's life by partnering with him? You have to pay for vacations. You have to pay for the house you raise your family in. You have to pay for your children's education. You might tell yourself you'd be cool with that, but in practice, in the long run you will grow to resent being married/long term partners with a guy like that.
And I’ll rephrase, there are ways to talk about your job to give it meaning, and that’s not what he did. This guy works in the ICU for cardio, he literally save dying people from dying, but instead of talking more about that (and I gave him plenty of prompts, asking him how he deals with loss on the job, his relationship with his co-workers, situations that he has been in that forced him to grow as a person, etc.), he mostly talked about how many restaurants he could take me to, and mostly talk about being a doctor with a focus on the luxuries that afford him.
I don't deny that his small talk game could be much much better. Dude hasn't learned basic communication skills if he doesn't understand girls don't want to hear you talk about yourself constantly; no one does.

I think there's something to be said for being able to read between the lines and doing your best to perceive people as they actually are, and not who they present themselves to be. I understand your point here totally. But if any of these chicks would spend some time reading between the lines and not being so focused on shallow perceptions, they would see this is just an awkward dude, who's a nice guy, that has demonstrated responsibility, compassion and good decision making in his life through his career path. On top of that he's good looking and tall. But instead these chicks are so focused on vapid and shallow qualities, they go after the slightly better looking guys who will probably pump n' dump them and never talk to them again.

He makes a GOAT beta provider role, tall, white, clean shaven, thin, high inhib.

But horrible Alpha guy role. Like the girl who cheats on a good looking guy for some loser who doesn't care about her etc.

Oh lawd, Love Island on the misc....

Why the flying fuk has a posh, intelligent southerner, who hasn't got a tan or rippling abs gone onto this tradie trash show? That's the real mystery OP.

These girls though? Gross, they all look like failed porn stars.

It’s because he’s beta and non-threatening. Sloots love the intimidation factor.

Yea and by the end of the video he reveals himself as a beta male soyboy.

One thing that miscers need to realize is that a lot of women can sense insecurity and lack of confidence a mile away.

Build that confidence up or fake it til you make it.

statistically the taller someone is the more money they will make throughout their life. By mating with tall men and having tall(er) children, you are almost guaranteeing your child(ren) a more successful life than if you had mated with a shorter man

so what's more important than money and height in life?
Don't follow women logic.

I know you have to be narcissistic to a degree to become that successful, but whatever he did, it came off as lacking interest in anyone else but himself, and we don’t live in this world alone so no thanks.
Probably because you two don't live in a vacuum and this wasn't his first date.

How many gold-diggers do you think he's met? I'm guessing 98% of the women he's dated. In his mind, the pattern is obvious. Women like money and his height. He probably gets commented on it 24/7. So, like any good animal, he makes that pattern a part of his routine when it comes to dating.

If gold-digging wasn't a thing, he'd probably be a completely different person on a date.
